Raw, the company behind a string of streamer factual hits including The Tinder Swindler, Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy and The Puppet Master once again takes first place in the Production 100 Peer Poll. The company is admired by rival indies for its “massive unscripted success on a global scale” and because it has “mastered how to grow and expand without loss of quality.” Others point to Raw’s “great noisy shows and premium factual” and admire its “quality control,” its “extraordinarily broad output” and “genuine innovation.”
Studio Lambert OO3 72 Films
Studio Lambert makes a move up the Peer Poll to third position after placing fifth last year. The company picks up votes from indies because it “consistently wins channel defining business,” while others point to its “sheer scale and success” and vote for it because it “always seems to get big noisy orders.”
Plimsoll OO4 Blast!
72 Films takes fourth spot in this year’s Peer Poll. The indie behind All or Nothing: Arsenal and Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story is admired for its “quality, quality, quality!” and because there are “lots of layers and a cultural currency to their work.” Others point to its “high quality, variety and consistency.”
OO7 Left Bank
Bristol and Cardiff-based factual specialist, Plimsoll, take the Peer Poll’s seventh place in this year’s survey. It’s described by fellow indies as “a beacon for what can be done out of London.” Others say Plimsoll “works with lots of different customers and has innovated in tone and style in wildlife.”

OOI The Tinder Swindler
Blast! Films move up from sixth position in last year’s Peer Poll to fifth. It’s voters hand it plaudits for “consistently delivering new, innovative and high quality series” and “for maintaining the quality of their output” and because it’s “almost 30 years old and still making quality shows that viewers watch.”
OO8 Quay Street
The Crown producer Left Bank moves into eighth place in this year’s Peer Poll. It’s admirers say of the indie: “They have been leading the charge in terms of opening up streaming opportunities for Britain.” Others admire it for its “very prolific projects and working with world class talent” and call it a “powerhouse.”

Sister
OO2
Sister moves up from third place in last year’s Peer Poll to second this time. Indie admirers point to Sister’s “well curated content with high production values” while also admiring the “scale of their ambition.” Other indies give Sister plaudits for its “female first stories and storytellers” and for the “mixture of quality and the amount of commissions!” Another indie says of Sister that it is “creatively as strong and bold as ever, whilst commercially brave and smart” with others saying they “love their approach and taste.”
OO5 Bad Wolf OO6
His Dark Materials indie Bad Wolf jumps from tenth spot in last time’s Peer Poll to sixth position. Its fellow production company admirers point to His Dark Materials in particular calling it “an impressive adaptation” while other say of Bad Wolf’s output: “groundbreaking, always high quality and great stories.”
OO9 See-Saw
Set up by producer Nicola Shindler only last year, the Manchester-based indie makes it into ninth position in this year’s production 100 Peer Poll. Described by fellow indies as an “out of London indie with speedy success,” it’s already in production on its first two dramas, Nolly and Significant Other.

The indie behind Slow Horses and Heartstopper and movies Operation Mincemeat and The Power of the Dog, See Saw, gets tenth spot in the Peer Poll, with admirers saying: “Their productions are always ambitious and eye-catching, and they work with fantastic talent, both onscreen and behind the scenes.”
