he rise of the phenomenon that is TikTok is remarkable. In the space of just six years the platform has grown from zero to 3 billion downloads. Yes, you did read that correctly. It achieved 1 billion active users in 2021 and according to statistics – the average TikTok user opens the app an astonishing 19 times a day! And with the average user spending 75 minutes a day on the platform, the question is… where’s this time coming from? In fact if your brand’s target audience includes
anyone between the age 13 and 60, you should be on TikTok right now. Unless that is… you sell guns… or you do anything that could remotely be considered politically incorrect. Then you’ll just get your account closed! And it’s not just guns that get

of several anglers that have had their accounts removed. Whether that trend will extend to companies I do not know – but presumably if people complain you’ll be gone! The problem is as the numbers of TikTok users increases, the amount of time spent on the other more tackle and gun friendly social media channels decreases. And thanks to Facebook’s crazy algorithms you are
reported – which ultimately
leads to your account being permanently excluded from the site. Imagine going to the trouble of getting millions of followers only to wake up one day to a message telling you your account has been deleted. At the time of going to press I know
only seeing AT BEST just 6% of your followers anyway… that’s mainly the fanboys that always interact with your posts anyway… are you beginning to see your results falling?
