Scanprobe goes beyond the bend
The TrapJumper from Scanprobe Techniques is a compact and lightweight probe camera for pipeline inspection. This portable device weighs less than 10kg, making it ideal for jobs where it is not practical to carry a full-size unit, such as up a long flight of stairs. Both the camera head and the push rod are designed to be flexible enough to handle tight bends and traps, while retaining the strength required for distances of up to 40m. Scanprobe’s Ben Gane, pictured, says that a benefit for existing customers is that the TrapJumper is compatible with the company’s Maxprobe control box, saving cost and space, and making the product suite more versatile for the hire market.

Duro shows its metal
Duro highlighted its new Du-Mital diamond blade, which is claimed to be particularly cost-effective. Designed to cut a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials up to 40mm thick, including titanium, it is available in five sizes from 115mm to 350mm. Duro states that the Du-Mital has a working life of up to 100 times longer than
an abrasive disc, meaning fewer blade changes are required, increasing productivity. It also creates fewer sparks during the cutting process and leaves virtually no dust residue.

APS becomes Boss mini scissor distributor
Access Platform Sales highlighted the recent development that WernerCo has appointed the company as its exclusive distribution partner in the UK and Ireland for the popular Boss X-Series of low-level access platforms. The companies have launched a new marketing campaign
focused on the X-Series, aimed at the hire and facilities management market. The range consists of the X3X model, which has a maximum platform height of 3.2m, and the X3 at 2.55m. Both machines provide a safe working load of 240kg and are designed for use indoors in confined spaces as they fit through standard doorways and corridors as well as in passenger lifts.
