EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW REVIEW continued
Doing a deal with Yanmar
As well as highlighting its new, more direct distribution strategy for the UK, Yanmar Construction Equipment exhibited a 1,235kg ViO12 zero tail swing mini excavator and an 800kg-payload C08 compact tracked dumper. As part of its
determination to build UK market share through a growing network of regional dealers, Yanmar Area Manager Bart Verstraete
(left) and Sam Reddish of BNP Paribas Leading Solutions promoted the manufacturer’s readiness to provide 0% finance deals on certain models at the Show.

Truxta Snowplough
British micro dumper maker, Tufftruk, exhibited its new snowplough attachment fitted onto a Truxta Bendie B300-E electric model with a 1000W 24V DC brushless electric motor. The 1150mm-wide snow blade can be manually angled 45° left or
right and it is raised and lowered by means of a lever on the right of the machine. The dumper carrying it was fitted with a corrosion-proof galvanised skip able to contain a load of salt. Late last year, Tufftruk moved into a new 650m2
factory unit on the
Prince Street Business Park in Leek, where it has established a longer main assembly line. MD Ron Blackhurst reports considerable interest in the electric Truxtas, which now account for around 90% of the company’s increased production levels.
