Armorgard opens the box
Visitors were able to have a first look at Armorgard’s revamped TuffBank site box, which will officially launch in April. Improvements include safety features such as the lid-stay system, which will prevent the lid from snapping shut even in the event of strut failure. The site box also now comes with a U-channel for cable access,
so users can recharge equipment while still keeping the lid shut. An optional extra is an in-box charger with USB port for smartphones and tablets. Armorgard also launched
its Flexi Cart pallet carrier, a response to growing demand from contractors to keep goods off the ground. The company plans an extensive series of further product launches throughout 2019.

Stair climber from Stanley
Stanley Handling exhibited 150kg and 190kg stair climbers at last year’s Show; for 2019 it went bigger and better with a 250kg model. The Sprinter 250
enables a single person to move awkward loads up and down stairways. Weighing just 27kg, it could be an attractive hire item for sectors such as events, removals, white goods, vending and gaming, retail, and heating and plumbing. It can achieve speeds of either 32 or 41 steps per minute, with a battery capacity of up to 1,400 steps and a recharge time of 2.5 hours.
