Already well-established, SANY had not exhibited at the Executive Hire Show before the 2022 event. New Blood
The Executive Hire Show continues to attract new exhibitors, with many who made their debut in last year. Dan Jenkins speaks with EHS 2022 debutants and this year’s newbies.
A
sure sign of vitality in a trade show is its ability to attract new exhibitors. Despite
still being under the cloud of Covid, several companies still decided to make their debut, and more are following suit in 2023. In addition, many of those who showcased their brands for the first time last year are returning.
Show debut Powered access specialist Haulotte UK is making its debut at the Executive Hire Show 2023, as it seeks to extend its reach.
“For Haulotte UK, the Executive Hire Show is an opportunity to extend our reach and make new connections, hopefully leading to new collaborations,” says Gavin Fraser, business development manager for Scotland and northern England.
“This show is very focused on the plant and tool hire sector and attracts the sort of general hire companies we don’t always see
at lifting equipment events. This show is an opportunity for us to really put the brand in front of decision-makers from those hire companies, particularly independent hirers.
“We are very focused on collaboration so the show for us is also an opportunity to exchange ideas with other exhibitors and perhaps forge new partnerships going forward.”
The future is orange Returning for 2023 after a successful debut is work at height specialist LFI – and you won’t be able to miss its stand, decked out in LFI’s distinctive orange branding.
“From a brand awareness point of view, it was a fantastic success,” says commercial director Andy Ferris. “It enabled us to get the brand in front of all the right people, plus we generated leads and brought on board a few new customers. We had two new products that were ideal for hirers and we were right
to choose the show to launch them as they were received really well.”
After successfully launching two products last year, LFI is planning more debuts for 2023. “There will be at least one new product on our stand,” says Ferris.
For first-time exhibitors, his advice is to be proactive and engaging. “This is the best event for the hire sector, without question,” he adds. “You will not find a higher concentration of decision-makers under one roof. If you are serious about being in this market, the Executive Hire Show is the one event you absolutely have to do. However, you have to be prepared to put yourself out there. Don’t just sit on your stand - talk to people, engage with visitors and start some conversations.”
Surpassed expectations Prop Pal had one of the busiest stands at the entire show – its first time attending
