Post Pullers The award-winning Barrier Master is a special purpose attachment

that has been developed to quickly and safely remove all types of posts. From VRS (crash barrier) posts to lighting columns and anything in

between, Barrier Master can remove posts with any foundation – i.e. concreted, driven or socketed. Operated entirely from the comfort and safety of the driver’s cab or remote control for lorry mounted crane version, Barrier Master grips posts and extracts them in one safe, controlled operation. There are two types of machines, which can offer up 15 tonnes of

pulling force. These have been quoted as being a game-changer in motorway barrier post removal, offering a safe alternative to a dangerous process and eliminating all manual handling – they are also over ten times faster than conventional methods. The latest MK2 versions of both machines boast more effective

gripping force, uprated chassis and easier maintenance. British- designed, the Barrier Master is able to withstand the rigours of the industry. At the end of their working life, they are virtually wholly recyclable.

BISAF BISAF’s engineers were given the challenge to find a replacement for

the typical timber edge protection barriers that can be found on many excavation sites. Their solution is the ‘Pit Protector’ – a modular barrier system that

can be assembled/struck within minutes. It does not go to waste when the project is completed. The equipment is designed to be used on soil, concrete, asphalt or timber and all components can be reused indefinitely. The Pit Protector has the following components include barrier

posts (inner and outer tubes), mesh panels (2,500mm, 2,000mm, 1,250mm), trident Clips, gates (with adjustable height) and wall fixings. Assembly is a simple matter of driving the inner tube into the ground to keep the outer tube in place (soil). Alternatively, bolt the outer tube in place (concrete / tarmac / wood) and connect using

mesh panels using trident clips. Wall fixings, bolted into concrete walls, are available to connect the barrier to sides.
