SPA Power Machinery The new Westermann WKB330 Weed Ripper is a smaller version of the WKB660 model. It is
available as a battery-powered option for environmentally sensitive areas, or with petrol power for jobs requiring longer run times. Lightweight and portable, it features the same heavy-duty rotating brushes as the larger
model. It works fully to the edges of walls and curbs, using the guard side flap to clean-up close to edges. The innovative brush technology is powerful enough for the toughest weeds, while gentle enough for delicate paving. The wire braids apply even pressure, which means there are no scratches to the surface. The WKB330 is also suitable for use with poly braids for delicate surfaces.

Briggs & Stratton The new Vanguard 1.5 kWh Swappable Battery focuses on convenience for the end user, enabling them to
easily swap the battery between applications on the jobsite. The ability to swap between multiple machines helps to reduce equipment downtime by removing the need for different battery types. Up to 10 batteries can be used in parallel, providing additional power capabilities as required. This allows
the batteries to be used across a range of product platforms. Housed in a secure casing, the batteries are designed to withstand abuse, debris and dirt, making them reliable and durable across a host of different machines, as well as reducing noise output and being emissions-free at the point of use. The batteries come with a built-in battery management system to protect battery health during use and
charging. Additionally, this system enables the battery to be connected to the Vanguard app, where users can remotely monitor the battery and run easy diagnostics. The Swappable Battery comes with dual CANbus communication to ensure effective communication with the machinery.

DURO Yokota For lighter building materials, most people will use a standard power tool and a dry core drill bit. That dry core
drill bit will have slots in it, and the majority will have spiral grooves in the body. Both features are there to clear the dust created as quickly away from the cut as possible. For heavier duty materials, most people will use a dedicated core drill motor and a wet diamond core drill bit.
That wet core drill bit will have a solid barrel and use water from a dust suppression bottle, or similar, directed to the cutting face. So no dust is produced, but a huge amount of wet slurry in the working environment. Duro Yokota is launching a dust-free drilling system for users of both dry and wet core drilling applications. To
this end the company has developed two new core drills ranges – the DPDC-SOLID (alternative to dry core drill bits) and the DUDDC core drills (alternative to wet core drill bits). Both have solid barrels and, via a combination of new drill motors and vacuum units, enable users to drill either into lightweight or heavyweight materials completely dust-free. Also being launched as part of the system are two new drill motors to complement the current range of motors and rigs.

Prop Pal Prop Pal Plus is the only needle support tool in the UK that supports
100% of both the inner and outer leaf walls – vital to maintain structural integrity during structural alterations. Anything less than 100% support of both skins during a knock through and structural integrity is lost. Prop Pal Plus makes the job safe, easy and secure. At 1800mm in
length, it is ideal for builders who need extra space to support walls – such as in old stone building projects or when installing steel box frames. The jacking screw plate is now on a shoe that slots on securely at either end, so builders can slide the needle from the outside in when working in tighter spaces Prop Pal Plus has a certified safe working load of 1050kg. It is CE
marked, made from S275 Structural Steel and is designed to slot through an aperture the size of a metric brick. A locking slot at both ends of the needle allows props to lock securely at both ends for greater stability when supporting walls below floor chambers.
