Taylor & Braithwaite celebrate half century
CONSTRUCTION and recycling dealership Taylor & Braithwaite (T&B) initially covered just Cumbria when the company was established 50 years ago, writes SAMUEL McKEOWN.
Since then T&B have expanded their product range and ge- ographic coverage. This includes all the North of England for Hyundai Construction Equipment, and an even greater area for Pronar Trommel’s and Shredders. For the Maximus Crushing and Screening, and Rubble Master brands, the fi rm’s reach is even further in the Midlands all the way to the top of Scotland.
The Hyundai territory was the most recent to be expanded, as T&B’s area now includes East and West Yorkshire, and this has been backed up with the appointment of Bev Walker (sales).
As 2018 began, T&B were able to reflect on having successfully completed 50 years in business. The year started with a desire to recognise this achievement in some way which would give everyone the opportunity to celebrate.
A charity ball was organised in October 2017 in Windermere, raising £34,015.66 for Cancer Research UK.
Rubble Master a great addition
The event’s guest list featured customers and suppliers, including Harold Taylor and Trevor Braithwaite, the company founders.
2017 had seen the introduction of the Rubble Master range to T&B’s portfolio. Rubble Master is an addition to the range off ered by T&B, and compliments the products already available.
Towards the end of the 2017, T&B became ISP members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, showing their commitment to moving forward and setting themselves high standards for the future.
The company are also expanding their premises in Cumbria to enable T&B to off er the same quality of after sales provision.
Their parts department is currently fi tting out a new warehouse facility, enabling them to have immediate access to a greater range of parts and accessories across all product ranges.
