P&P LIVE! 2019 review

Product range well received

D

ickies Workwear exhibited an extensive selection of products at P&P LIVE!, including its brand new

Hard Working Since 1922 range, which was well received by visitors. The new collection features design details that reflect Dickiesʼ heritage, while incorporating a modern, trend-led style. Also on display were items from Dickiesʼ Everyday 24/7 range, which are easy to customise with a logo and available in 10 colourways. Simple to co-ordinate, this range is ideal for teams of tradespeople who would like the option of wearing the same uniform.

The Everyday 24/7 collection is particularly popular in the printwear market and a lot of interest was received at the show. For footwear, newer styles, such as the Cameron Boot and Phoenix Trainer, attracted the most attention.

Huge crowds generated P

rintwear & Promotion LIVE! 2019 was the first time Resolute DTG promoted Ricoh products.

Showcasing new equipment from Ricoh, the Ri 1000 DTG printer and the Viper MAXX area specific pre-treatment machine from iGroup technology generated huge crowds on the new open plan stand. Resolute also reports that record sales were made within the first hour of the show opening on Sunday.

Another star of the show for Resolute was the 1800z UV printer, with people mesmerised by its ability to produce raised logos in clear ink on water bottles. The small format flatbed UV printer is still the only UV printer capable of producing ADA compliant digital braille signage.

The Resolute team arrived back at HQ in Chesterfield to a brand new showroom, this had been created while they were away at the show in readiness for the many demonstrations that will follow after this fantastic show.

owlinson Knitwear was delighted to take part in the 30th anniversary P&P LIVE!, which proved to be the busiest show for the team yet! For schoolwear, the focus was on the newly launched Performa 25 knitwear, which offers a tailored, lightweight fit, particularly suitable underneath blazers and jackets.

The market-leader, Performa 50, is composed of a similar 50/50 blend of cotton and acrylic but in double knit, offering the best of both worlds with its softness and durability. Performa 50 v-neck pullovers and cardigans in plain colours are available from stock in 24 hours.

Fom the corporatewear range, Rowlinsonʼs 50/50 cotton and acrylic blend brand, Performa Exec, is designed specifically for the corporate wearer in a single- bed knit, making them light and cool to wear. Excellent performance and durability means Performa Exec pullovers, cardigans and slipovers stay smarter for longer.

Promotion LIVE! Itʼs always a fantastic event and we look forward to it each year, as it gives us a chance to keep our finger on the pulse in terms of whatʼs happening in the workwear and uniform industry. It also provides a brilliant opportunity for us to showcase our newest products, and gather feedback from valued customers. We were delighted to feature in the fashion show again this year, especially as it gave us a platform to showcase our latest cutting edge developments from our GFORCE and Grahame Gardner ranges. The event presented a prime opportunity to display our varied product offering – from sophisticated salon wear to technical polo shirts – helping people from the UK and beyond get a first-hand look at the quality they can expect from us.

P&P LIVE! 19 was a hugely enjoyable and successful show for us at David Sharp. We always look forward to meeting and catching up with our existing customers, giving them the chance to ask us any embroidery related questions they may have, face to face. David Sharp considers Printwear & Promotion LIVE! as the perfect way to start off a successful year ahead and we are already looking forward to the 2020 exhibition.
