P&P LIVE! 2019 review

Winner of find the butterfly competition revealed

T

he Stitch Factory Sheffield was the winner of 50 free embroidery design set ups after successfully finding the golden butterfly

on David Sharpʼs stand during Printwear & Promotion LIVE! They were

drawn from only nine companies that managed to successfully spot the gold embroidered butterfly, and will now enjoy 50 bespoke embroidery designs completely free of charge. All other new customers will receive two free designs!

This year David Sharp was showing off its 3D embroidery designs and badges, showing customers that anyone with an embroidery machine can easily create perfect 3D embroidery that really stands out from the crowd. David Sharpʼs offer of two free embroidery set ups for new customers went down very well this year and the offer is still available for anyone that didnʼt get around to visiting during the exhibition.

A second successful year P

RO RTX enjoyed a second successful year at P&P LIVE!, with the opportunity to showcase the new 2019 range to customers as a direct result of feedback.

The PRO RTX team was delighted with the positive response from visitors, with many impressed with the availability of wide size ranges and carefully crafted garments that are ideal for building the perfect uniform.

The new versatile Pro Sweater (RX200) and the must-have Pro Fleece (RX402) were particular favourites. The highly anticipated Ladies Pro 2 Layer Softshell Jacket (RX500F) also received positive feedback; as did the new colours of the RX101 Pro Polo.

egatta professional exhibited at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2019 showcasing its new stand design and a vast range of new and innovative products. There was a particular level of interest in the new Contrast Collection and Tactical Threads ranges. Contrast is best described as a cost effective way to build a bespoke uniform for workwear teams and looks to be exactly what a number of businesses have been searching for. The collection includes a varierty of garments from 3-in-1 jackets, bodywarmers, softshell and fleeces to polo shirts and legwear. The Tactical Threads range also proved popular with many visitors impressed by its stylish yet hardwearing designs, ideal for tradesmen. The colourful RActivewear range and classic professional style remained integral during sales conversations.

New this year was the inclusion of a hospitality bar on the stand. The team definitely appreciated having more visitors spending extra time among on stand and hope that they also enjoyed the experience. With its bright high rise neon lights and open plan design, the Regatta Professional stand was vibrant and inviting.

he Behrens Group made a return to P&P LIVE! after a six year absence with an eye catching presentation of the groupʼs garment offer, which really caught the attention of visitors looking for an alternative to the familiar catalogue of products offered by major distributors.

Behrens showcased its popular stock programme of sportswear with new fluro colours added to the nine-colour Heritage range, an athleisure line of coloured grindle marls included menʼs and ladies tees, polos and quarter zip mid layer proved a real winner especially when, complemented by a selection of shorts, pants and newly added ladies stretch legging and skort. While new outerwear pieces of hooded quilted jacket and soft shell complete the look. Behrens also featured its uniforms and workwear ranges which are targeted at healthcare and beauty markets. The striking La Beeby range of tunics proved really popular with both existing and new customers with remarks like ʻI didnʼt realise Behrens had such an extensive product offerʼ.

Also new for the show was a keenly priced basic polyester/cotton pique polo offer in nine colours. This was well received, especially as there is also a ladies version and fit.

Berhrens also featured several style examples to demonstrate its extensive bespoke design and sourcing capability

Another successful show for Hobkirks! The show gets better and better for us and this year we doubled the size of our stand to allow us to welcome customers old and new to join us. Our ever popular range of Ricoma machines were well received, in particular the EM1010 model which is similar to the Brother PR1050X but over £2000 cheaper with free cap frames and free machine stand. The Ricoma 1501TC-7S proved popular with a show discount of £1000! We canʼt wait until next year, weʼll be here again on the same stand!
