P&P LIVE! 2019 review Visitors keen to see what was new
S
F is known for its on-trend styles, so the stand was as busy as ever this year, as visitors were keen to see whatʼs new for 2019.
Trendy mannequins and decorated garments captured visitorʼs imagination. The sublimation printing on the new SF523 Unisex Contrast Sweat really caught peopleʼs attention; many customers had been looking for styles just like this! Contrast taping has been seen across the high street, and now SFʼs new style allows customers to decorate with their own branding and keep on top of the key trends. The new cropped styles – SK127/SM127 Feel Good Contrast Strappy Vests, SK237 Cropped Boxy T and SK515
Cropped Slounge Sweat – also had customers
excitedly chatting about where they would sell onto, and what designs they had in mind.
The best-selling Feel Good range continued to be a talking-point, with the range of 15 styles and 23 colours in the range. Many customers were wearing their favourite Feel Good styles, which is a true testament of what a great T shirt it truly is.
Another great show! J
ust Cool by AWDis introduced an exciting 13 new styles to the ever-growing range for 2019, much to the delight of visitors to stand E10.
The must-have Cool Contrast Zoodie for men (JC057) and women (JC058) proved to be real crowd pleasers, as did the six colourways of the JC044 Cool Stand Collar Sports Polo; with many customers keen to start stocking the garment.
The highly anticipated Girlie Cross Back Crop Top (JC019) paired with the new Girlie Cool Dynamic Leggings (JC078) also received excellent feedback; a direct result of Just Cool listening to customersʼ desires for more matching garments.
Printwear & Promotion LIVE! proved to be another great show for Just Cool by AWDis.

Five new product launches wow visitors
record number of visitors flocked to Dae Haʼs impressive garment films display, and were greeted with five new products which the company launched at P&P LIVE! Exclusively manufactured by Dae Ha, Glitter Lux took centre stage with visitors wowed by the unrivalled brightness and smooth nature of the glitter. Initial stocks were soon snapped up by new and existing customers within a week, with Glitter Lux proving to be the companyʼs most successful product launch to date.
The luxurious Silicone Ultra caused a stir with visitors being able to not just see, but also feel the difference this high build colour rich film provides, for high end transfers.
With new and existing products in continual development, Dae Ha will continue to surprise throughout 2019.
Orders for Lotus heat presses across the extensive range were flowing,
demonstrating clearly that value and not just price holds true for garment
decorators both large and small. Large interest was also shown in the ability to manufacture custom sized presses and lower platens within a short period of time, for all manner of applications, not just for garments.
Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2019 was busier than ever with a record number of customers visiting our stand! And since the show has finished, we have been inundated with quotations and follow up calls, the phone hasn”t stopped ringing.
2019 marks the 60th year since Barudan was founded in Japan. This year we were as proud as punch to show off our vintage Barudan BEAT II, 1984 single-head embroidery machine… And guess what? Even at the ripe old age of 35, this neat, little, but ʻoh soʼ robust machine is still in full working order!
Loaned to us by Peter Reynolds of Sports and Leisure Brands in Lincoln, this machine is still used for personalisation to this day (alongside Peterʼs other modern Barudan embroidery machines of course). With only five needles, no automatic colour change or trim function and with built in monogram fonts, this ʻold girlʼ certainly did draw a lot of attention. Visitors were astounded to see that a 35-year- old embroidery machine was still producing the high quality embroidery that Barudan pride ourselves on. Today, Barudanʼs K Series machines are still hand built in Japan, with servo motors for increased production, touch screen high resolution monitors, 100 channel memory, quick change cap frames, easy to use networking programs and many other advanced features.

We had a fantastic show, receiving positive feedback on the products and having very interesting conversations with visitors and other exhibitors, as well being the returning sponsors of the fashion show. Thank you to everyone that visited this year and we look forward to another successful show next year.
