Roland DG reopens revamped showrooms to meet and support its customers

R

oland DG has announced the reopening of its new and upgraded showroom in the UK and Denmark, with Spain to follow before the end of 2021. Together with the existing ones in Italy, Germany and France, the three revamped spaces feature all-new digital technology, which brings Roland DG’s offerings to life, and helps customers and potential buyers choose the right solution for their own business needs.

The showrooms were updated during the pandemic when the company was forced

to close in March 2020. These spaces are a dynamic, happening hub that bring together technology, colleagues, dealers, partners and customers.

All three upgraded showrooms share the same look and feel, so every customer can have the same first-class Roland experience wherever they are.

The showrooms use new digital technology to enhance and showcase Roland DG’s solutions and help customers choose the right options for them. Stephen Davis, marketing director at Roland DG EMEA, said: “At Roland DG, we

pride ourselves in putting our customers first, and tailoring our services to meet their individual needs.

“While we made it a priority to stay in contact with and support our customers remotely throughout the pandemic, we understand that for many of our potential buyers, being able to experience our machines in-person and receive face to face advice is important. As a result, we were determined not only to reopen our showrooms, but to improve them. “At the same time, we recognise that many print businesses have made the leap to digital during the pandemic: we’re proud to offer our virtual showroom to customers who cannot reach our physical spaces or simply prefer a digital experience, for the same immersive insights into our broad range of offerings.”

Designed by Hells Angel and graphic artist Allan ‘Gut’ Terk, the simple yellow T shirt sold for nearly twice as much as a Led Zeppelin shirt from that band’s 1979 concerts at Knebworth, which previously held the record for selling for $10,000 in an eBay auction in 2011. After expenses and fees, auction winner Bo Bushnell paid a total of $19,315.80 for the Grateful Dead souvenir. It is believed to be among the first shirts mass-produced by the band, although in incredibly limited quantities. The T shirt was previously in possession of Dan Healy, an audio engineer who worked with the Dead. Mr Bushnell operates the Outlaw
