Ricoh and Aeoon announce global direct to garment print partnership

icoh and Aeoon Technologies have announced a global
partnership, which will see Rioch extend its DTG offering into the higher productivity market. The Ricoh and Aeoon partnership will address the needs of the higher production industrial digital textile printing market. The strategic technology partnership will enable Ricoh to further demonstrate its commitment to the textile market, focusing on improved sustainability and better cost efficiency. It will feature Ricoh’s inkjet print head development expertise and knowledge. Colour management capability and print data generation will be

provided by ColorGATE, which is based in Germany and owned by Ricoh. As the DTG market continues to show a steep recovery in the post-COVID economy, the partnership will bring solutions to the market that actively support print service providers with modular growth strategies. The future portfolio will include systems that drive sustainable on-demand textile production and respond to the growth opportunities presented by decentralised fulfilment operations and centralised online businesses. • 207kg recycled to make renewable fabrics. • 630kg recycled to make insulation/ geotextiles.
• 207kg of waste used for green energy. • 1.75 tons of C02 saved from the atmosphere.
• 1,053,889 litres of water saved by aiding the future of manufacturing of textiles.
