Mimaki pushes creative boundaries in 2022 with new personalisation solutions
Three additions to Mimaki’s stellar direct-to-object printing range will be available from early 2022 to help promotional printing and personalisation companies take their business to new heights.
Available through Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s distributor for the UK and Ireland, the new UJF models feature an array of innovative capabilities designed to deliver significant quality and performance benefits, empowering users to explore new applications and increase productivity.

esigned for seamless and reliable high-speed production, the new Mimaki UJF-7151 plusII has been equipped with eight print heads, enabling dual four-colour (CMYK) ink confi gurations. This, in turn, allows faster print speeds of up to 190% compared to the previous UJF-7151 plus model. The new system also breaks new creative boundaries with several features developed to enhance image quality, such as the MFD2 (half-toning) processing functionality to further control dot position. The UJF-7151 plusII’s six-colour confi guration includes light cyan and light magenta to enable more accurate colour reproduction and it can achieve 1,800dpi image resolution, providing superior defi nition for high-quality applications. In addition, the new printer’s innovative Colour Gloss functionality adds a glossy fi nish to hardened colour inks, assisting users to create new, distinguishing textures and details that ensure their products stand out from the crowd, without the use of clear varnish. Load capacity has also been increased to 30kg, making the printer capable of handling heavy media, such as wood, metal, and glass, in industrial print environments.
omprising two new small format models that are big on quality, the brand-new UJF-MkII e printers offer cutting-edge image quality and stability for printing onto an extensive variety of soft and hard media, including leather, wood, acrylic, metal, and glass. The new UJF-3042MkII e features a print area of 300x420mm, while the UJF-6042MkII e offers a larger print size of 610x420mm. Both models feature new MFD2 processing for exceptional image quality as well as an improved gap check sensor. This laser sensor detects media placement to prevent printheads from making contact with the material during printing. It can even detect transparent materials for superior accuracy and highly controlled media detection. In addition, the new printers provide improved usability to the operator by adding visual guidance on the 3.45in full colour display.

nnounced in 2021 and already making an impact in the dye sublimation printing market, the TS100-1600 is Mimaki’s latest addition to its 100 Series portfolio. This affordable, high-quality system has been positioned as ideal for companies looking to add their fi rst digital sublimation printing solution or expand their production capacity.
Introduced to meet the increase in demand for personalisation, bespoke prints and customer décor the new TS100-1600 offers a low cost route into the sector. With a print width of 1,600mm and speeds of up to 70sq m/h, the TS100 uses one-litre ink bottles to reduce running costs and incorporates many of Mimaki’s Core Technologies that have cascaded down from larger production models to enhance print quality and aid ease of use.
