T

his new premium thread is naturally strong yet feather soft and gentle on the skin. Ideal for embroidering onto eco-fashions, promotional goods, uniforms, sports apparel, undergarments, baby clothing and home décor.

Available in 144 silk-matt colours offering a natural fi nish to designs and a must have, when it comes to producing sustainable textiles.

Important developments Developed in response to the focus on sustainability, Madeira’s latest innovation is an important development and a critical move for both the textile industry and the environment. Raw materials are fundamental for sustainable development and the reason why the manufacturing process uses environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable raw materials. Tencel Lyocell fi bres are derived from trees grown on non-agricultural land and harvested only from certifi ed and controlled forests resulting in a signifi cantly lower water consumption than cotton. The award winning closed-loop production process uses only organic solvents, which are recovered and reused to more than 99%. Sensa Green is spun and dyed exclusively in Germany, using REACH- conform dyes and state-of-the-art environmentally responsible dyeing technology which saves water and recycles energy. The thread is then spooled, and laser marked for quality control and product traceability. Free from harmful substances and certifi ed Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex, product class I, Annex 6, Sensa Green is the perfect solution for eco-conscious embroiderers.
