A world class experience for a smart investment
With the advent of the Hyper Ride, the creative minds at Triotech have excelled themselves again. Creating a destination experience at a fraction of the price, regional parks, family entertainment centres (FEC’s) and location-based entertainment (LBE) venues should sit up and take note, because this innovative media-based dark ride has fun and longevity rolled into one. Park World editor, Becci Knowles met up with Triotech founder, president and CEO Ernest Yale and his vice of president global sales, Eric Beauregard, to find out more.
The motion

riotech is well known for having platforms which have evolved and a library of content at a price which makes sense for LBE venues and FEC’s large and small. “15 years ago, there were a few competitors, but we have sold several hundred interactive theatres to date, so I think we have become the leader,” says Ernest. “The key with our interactive theatres is that that they are not designed for one location with a specific content, it’s a platform that evolves with a library of content. We have more than 10 titles for interactive content for our interactive theatres and several dozen for its predecessor the immersive
XD Theater.” With the Hyper Ride, Triotech is taking this same approach, with plans to offer the operator media- based content changes at the push of a button, to the dark ride world.
The Hyper Ride is for locations which would not traditionally have a destination park level dark ride attraction. Not all operators can afford to invest several millions into one single attraction, so Triotech has tailored a solution to solve this issue.
Interestingly too for a dark ride, not all of it is in the dark. Those waiting in-line will see the vehicles come out and
