Six Flags Entertainment Company announces its lineup of rollercoasters, rides and attractions debuting at Six Flags parks in 2018

“This is our most impressive and ambitious new capital rollout ever,” said Six Flags Chairman, President and CEO Jim Reid-Anderson. “Many of the rides and attractions we are introducing next year are ‘world’s firsts’ and record breakers as we deliver fun-packed innovation at the highest level. Our strategy of providing something new in every park, every year, continues to delight our guests and has resulted in attendance growing to over 30 million guests annually.”

Six Flags Mexico: 4D Free Fly Coaster

Six Flags Mexico is launching its fi rst ever 4D Free Fly Coaster in 2018. This uniquely designed roller coaster from S&S - Sansei will feature theming based on DC’s iconic Super Hero—Wonder Woman. On the new Wonder Woman Coaster, riders are lifted straight up a 34 meters (112 ft), 90º hill and then immediately fl ipped head-over-heels, backwards and forwards multiple times as they speed along the undulating vertically stacked track. Two beyond 90º raven drops give the sensation of free- falls from high above the ground. The Free Fly design allows cars to be extended outward from the track as riders sit suspended in mid-air. Riders sit in face-to-face seats in one of fi ve vehicles with eight passengers each.

Six Flags Over Texas: Harley Quinn Spinsanity

Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington, Texas, will introduce Harley Quinn Spinsanity in spring 2018. A Tourbillon from ABC Rides, it features a unique futuristic triple box design that allows the gondola to spin around three separate axes while rotating forward, backwards and sideways simultaneously at up to 70 feet (21 m) in the air. Seated 24 across with over-the-shoulder harnesses, riders will experience a combination of negative and positive gravitational forces. By night, the attraction promises to light up the North Texas skies.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom: Harley Quinn dual looping coaster

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo, California, will introduce the Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster in spring 2018. From Skyline Attractions, this world’s fi rst of its kind inverted looping coaster features continuous inversions along a vertically stacked fi gure eight track. The ride features multiple head-to-head high fl ybys at combined speeds of 70 miles per hour (113 kph). The 62 foot (19 m) tall ride occupies a compact footprint of 120 feet by 30 feet (37m x 9m) and offers an hourly capacity of up to 800. The experience offers 32 passengers a unique journey as they

board the competing 16-seat ride vehicles. The two trains duel one another and riders sit face to face as they race repeatedly around a 360-foot (110 m) circuit of lemniscate (fi gure eight) track. As two trains race forward and backwards then charge each other head-to-head to create a dueling riding experience. Riders experience up to 12 head-over-heels inversions. After the two trains travel back and forth, the ride does three forward rotations and another three in the opposite direction.
