Lagtronics Projects announces new attraction concept

Kaisa International Resorts Group, a professional group under the umbrella of the Kaisa Group, is currently building a large-scale coastal resort complex combining properties, tourism, residences, business and culture in one place: Kaisa Golden Bay Resort. The project is situated at the northwest coast line of Dapeng Peninsula, Southeast Shenzhen, covering a developed area of about 1.5 million square meters. Lagotronics Projects has unveiled plans for an interactive VR speeder

ride on three levels, which will tell a story about an important mission that needs to be executed in three phases. According to a spokesperson: “All phases are connected and everyone is playing a different part in the same game, so teamwork is key to complete the mission. When guests enter the final part of the attraction they will be surprised by several futuristic themed VR “Speeders” on motion base platforms at which point the mission is completely in their hands…to be continued!”

A whiff of escapism

Modern Fables Escape Rooms in London, UK has worked with AromaPrime, which has created smells for the likes of Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and the Natural History Museum, to concoct a range of unique fantasy scents for its escape room experiences. These aromas will be used to enhance a feeling of escapism from the lockdown world, in a COVID-safe way.

Vitally, they will help ensure that immersion isn’t overshadowed by the new safety features. Jay Harris, director at Modern

Fables Escape Rooms, said: “The subtle yet very effective impact smell has on heightening this experience is a central part of what we do. As the virus continues to invade our thoughts, we feel smell is a powerful tool to create the escapism we want to achieve.”
