Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, meanwhile, will debut Pixar Pier, a transformed land where guests will enjoy newly themed attractions, foods, and merchandise representing beloved Disney·Pixar stories.


La Ronde in Montreal will open Carnaval en Folie, a new family zone designed to re-create the festive atmosphere of the fairs and carnivals of yesterday. The Carnaval en Folie zone will include three new rides including the Toubillon carousel, the Petite Rou" Ferris wheel, and Tour du Fou, a high-flying merry-go-round. Bernie's Barnyard, an area created specifically for the park's


youngest guests, will open at Adventureland in Iowa, featuring kiddie rides, a playground, arcade games, and more. Carowinds, North Carolina, debuts Camp Snoopy, a newly expanded kids' section featuring new rides, and a climb-and-play area, Beagle Scout Acres. Camp Snoopy will feature five new rides by Zamperla.

Megabugs! Adventure Encounters. It is an immersive and interactive area featuring more than 70 new exhibits of larger- than-life insects.


Marineland in Canada will open Aviary Safari, the world's largest outdoor aviary, this summer. Covering 100 acres, the Aviary features two man-made lakes and thousands of trees - the perfect natural environment for the birds to wander, swim, and roost as they please.


Thomas the Tank Engine, along with his friends and favorite destinations from the Island of Sodor, will come to life this year with the opening of Thomas Town within Kennywood Park, Pennsylvania. Thomas Town will feature four Zamperla rides plus a train ride with Thomas.

Virginia’s Busch Gardens Williamsburg has revealed details about its new virtual reality ride, called Battle For Eire—Action VR Ride. The VR attraction will feature a fierce fairy warrior named Addie, who will lead riders on an adventure through her homeland, Ireland. Universal Orlando’s newest attraction, Fast & Furious – Supercharged, will soon race into Universal Studios Florida and bring one of the world’s hottest film franchises to life in a whole new way. With the help of ride simulators, the next chapter of the Fast & Furious franchise will come to life with Universal Orlando’s new attraction: Fast & Furious – Supercharged. The Funplex, East Hanover, New Jersey, has introduced Hologate, a virtual reality attraction from Creative Works that allows gamers to join their friends on adventures in a futuristic dimension.


The Big Apple Virtual Reality Experience has been introduced at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The first of its kind in Las Vegas, this white-knuckle ride high above The Strip combines thrill-seekers’ need for speed with advanced, immersive graphics.


On the heels of the recent acquisition of DreamWorks Animation, Universal Studios Hollywood is setting the stage for the Summer 2018 debut of the all-new DreamWorks Theatre presenting the premier attraction, Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest. Seabreeze, Rochester, New York, will usher in a new version of their popular midway show, Cirque en Vol. Their Bumper Cars get a big make-over, and their Bobsleds and Spring rides are also enhanced. Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, unveils a new entertainment venue, the Plaza at Wilderness Pass. It will house different events that correlate with the park's many festivals throughout the year.
