NEW PARKS Two new Great Wolf Resorts are opening this year. One is in LaGrange, Georgia, the second just north of Chicago in Gurnee, Illinois. Each property will feature indoor water slides, a giant tipping bucket, wave pool, lazy river, and a family raft ride. Additional family-focused attractions outside the water park include the ‘MagiQuest’ interactive adventure game and the indoor Great Wolf Adventure Park. A new KidZania, the interactive entertainment destinations for kids, will also open this year in Dallas, Texas.

Cinergy Entertainment Group opens a new location in


Edinburg, Texas, in summer. The new FEC features cinemas, bowling, multi-level laser tag, elevated ropes course, game floor, escape rooms, and the Cinergy Epic auditorium. In Denison, Texas, Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille adds a 6,000


square ft (557 sq m) location featuring dine-in movie theatres, 24 Brunswick bowling lanes, an interactive arcade and amusement center, and a multi-level high-definition laser tag center.


NEW LANDS Disney's Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, will open Toy Story Land this summer, featuring characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Slinky Dog. Toy Story Land features two new attractions, the Slinky Dog Dash family roller coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers, a flying saucer ride.
