Polin Waterparks

projects in 105 countries worldwide and have many patented signature rides such as King Cobra, Magic Sphere, and Space Shuttle. Our RTM waterslide manufacturing technology in addition to our NLE, SPE have marked many milestones in the waterpark industry. Polin group serves as a one-point solution provider. Our aim is

F

to extend our services to fully serve our clients and help them integrate different entertainment channels as a one stop destination point.

New horizons in VR Polin Waterparks have established a partnership with Polymorph Software to integrate VR technology into waterslides. This provides a 360-degree experience, user-friendly interface

that allows guests to select desired interactions, synrchronized VR displays that can transition from “real-life” images to a completely animated experience, and unlimited scenario options. Throughout the ride, guests are ensured a safe experience from the high-tech design of IP68-certified waterproof and dust-protection wireless VR glasses.

Splashing times The Slide ‘n Roll combines all of Polin’s exclusive technologies – unique sound, lighting and design special effects – into one experience. Waterslide modules essentially become giant speakers, also known as bass shakes, that transmit a low-frequency vibration onto a surface that riders can hear as they travel through the slide. Polin also offers Slide ‘n Score, where guests shoot at LED- illuminated targets with remote control units as they slide, Ride’n Splash, a flume ride for all the family, and Slash Cabin, a two- player water-fuelled battle developed with our strategic partner Lagotronics.

Aquarium design Polin Waterparks introduced its new Polin Aquariums division last year, and immediately ignited interest within the attractions industry about what the concept included. Now, the results of those initial conversations have begun to develop into full-fledged installations – with the first already under construction in Anzali, Iran, due to open next March.

Trends The waterpark industry is continually evolving, wanting to offer the most attractive, exciting and appealing rides. Since we live in a society in which guests demand novelty, I think the biggest challenge for waterpark operators is to make sure they continually offer new, exciting rides that attract guests, keep their interest, and make them want to come back again and again. Our research shows that, most importantly, guests want

“exciting” waterslides. Waterslides that offer the most heart- pounding experiences include high-speed, exciting, and exhilarating ride paths, with an intense rider experience and big drops. Safety is our first priority, and thanks to computer aided design and simulation, we can now offer 100% safe designs while still maintaining the most exciting and exhilarating ride paths.
