PREVIEW: SBC SUMMIT
SOFTSWISS brings 2027 iGaming trends and prediction markets to SBC Lisbon
As the industry heads into the planning season for 2027, operators face familiar questions: which markets to enter, which products to launch, and how to manage the complexity of regulated growth.
S
BC Lisbon, running from 29 September to 1 October 2026, will be one of the key venues where those questions get discussed – and SOFTSWISS is arriving with two clear answers on its agenda: the fi fth edition of its iGaming Trends report and the Prediction Markets Platform. The global strategic partner for the iGaming industry will exhibit on Stands B501 and C422, showcasing its product ecosystem across both locations.
A FIFTH YEAR OF SEPARATING LASTING TRENDS FROM PASSING ONES
The annual 2027 iGaming Trends report will be released on 29 September on Stand B501, giving operators the insights they need to shape their 2027 strategy. Produced in partnership with World Gaming (formerly Clarion), the report examines which iGaming trends refl ect broader industry movements and will drive sustainable growth, and which are likely to fade – helping the industry align on priorities and approach emerging opportunities with confi dence. This edition also marks a fi rst: the report includes perspectives from Amazon Web Services (AWS), expanding the analysis beyond traditional iGaming. The fi ndings will be put to debate on launch

day. SOFTSWISS will lead the industry panel ‘2027 iGaming Trends Report | Five Years of iGaming: Which Trends Endured, Which Faded, and What Comes Next?’ on 29 September from 16:10 to 16:50 at Feira Internacional De Lisboa & Meo Arena. Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development
Offi cer at SOFTSWISS, frames the thinking behind the report: “Operators are looking for practical ways to enter new markets, launch new products and manage the complexity of regulated growth. “Our approach is to think ahead alongside operators, understanding their market, anticipating what comes next, and providing the technology and expertise to build for that future. Their ambition is the starting point for our work, and their success is how we measure it.”
PREDICTION MARKETS TAKE CENTRE STAGE AS A GROWTH CATEGORY
Alongside the report, the second focus in Lisbon is a category the company sees as a priority growth opportunity for operators in regulated markets: Prediction Markets. A dedicated Sportsbook and Prediction Markets zone at stand C422 will support operators with hands-on
exploration of the Prediction Markets Platform and strategic guidance on entering the category. Anton Lishchuk, Prediction Markets Commercial Strategist at SOFTSWISS, will share expertise across two key industry events. On 30 September, from 16:30 to 17:10, he joins the panel ‘Prediction Markets: The Future’s Not Near, It’s Here’ to debate market drivers, regulatory responses, and competitive positioning for operators in this category. On 1 October, from 14:00 to 14:30, he delivers the keynote “Operators May Lose Prediction Markets Before They Enter Them” at the Prediction Markets Forum, breaking down practical approaches to launching Prediction Markets without operational complexity.
The keynote title captures the tension the sessions will address: the category is developing quickly, and the operators who prepare now are the ones positioned to benefi t from it.
