ICE PREVIEW Markus Antl
Where the entire gaming ecosystem

builds on the exciting features players loved in that game, with the Firecracker Frenzy trails now also offering a ‘Zone Boost’ multiplier which we’re very excited about. Three Bandits – Shoot ‘n’ Spin is an innovative title for Greentube that will immerse players in the thrills of the Wild West. It represents the evolution of the three pot games we have launched so far. We’re really looking forward to seeing how this one performs because it offers a very different type of gameplay than what players may be used to.
Finally, we’ll be putting the spotlight back
GIO speaks to Markus Antl, Director Global Sales and Key Account Management at Greentube, to find out what visitors can look forward to seeing on the leading game developer’s stand 2M70 at ICE Barcelona 2026.
GIO: What can we expect to see from Greentube at ICE 2026? What are you most excited to showcase this year? Markus Antl: Visitors will see our biggest and most immersive booth to date. We will have experts from all of our fields at ICE to meet with clients and discuss important topics, and of course, we’ll have all our newest games on display, as well as the popular classics like Book of Ra, Sizzling Hot, Lucky Lady’s Charm, Diamond Link, Cash Connection, and our Dutch Classics among others.
GIO: Tell us a little bit about the games you’re displaying this year. MA: Of course, the focus is on our Q1 games, and two of the highlights are Firecracker Frenzy – Money Toad, and Three Bandits – Shoot ‘n’ Spin. Firecracker Frenzy – Money Toad is the sequel to the very popular slot, Firecracker Frenzy – Empress Wealth, and it

on Starlight Jackpots Captain’s Catch. This is a game we released last September which has been getting extremely positive traction in certain regions which we’d like to expand on.
GIO: What were the key learnings from last year’s event that helped your team prepare for 2026? MA: Our biggest takeaway was the importance of location and visibility. Last year, our stand was in a prime spot with heavy foot traffic, which significantly boosted engagement. We analysed the ICE heat map to understand visitor flow and used those insights to optimise this year’s stand design and positioning. Additionally, external advertising proved highly effective – large screens with call-to-action messaging drove more visitors to our stand. For 2026, we doubled down on strategic placement and impactful branding to maximise exposure.
GIO: How does your 2026 exhibit build on or differ from what you presented at previous ICE events? MA: We’ve evolved the concept introduced last year with a more sustainable and refined approach. The stand will feature our iconic tunnel in a new format, complemented by a larger lounge area for informal conversations and private meeting rooms for confidential discussions. We’ve also expanded the product showcase with interactive cubes, large and small touchscreens, and a design that reflects our 360° approach – creating a space that’s both visually striking and business-focused.
GIO: Looking ahead, what key developments or goals are you focusing on post-ICE 2026? MA: Our priority is converting leads into long-term partnerships. The stand is designed to facilitate meaningful business conversations, with private meeting rooms, lounge areas, and even on-site legal and compliance support to finalise agreements during the event. Post-ICE, success will be measured not just by visibility but by tangible ROI – signed deals, strategic collaborations, and growth opportunities that stem from the connections made at the show. Going forward, we reshaped our games supply strategy in 2025 and are very much looking forward to delivering more branded game content, more market tailored content and more evolution of our top performing games to our customers and players in the years to come.
GIO: What do you like the most about ICE Barcelona personally, and how does being present here help Greentube? MA: ICE Barcelona is the industry’s flagship event – if you’re not there, you’re missing the most important networking and business opportunity of the year. It’s where the entire gaming ecosystem comes together, from land-based to online, and being present signals that you’re a serious player in the market. For Greentube, exhibiting at ICE has been a game-changer. Last year was our first time with a dedicated stand, and the exposure was incredible. Many visitors approached us spontaneously, even without scheduled meetings, which led to new conversations and partnerships. Personally, it’s a great way to kick off the year through meaningful conversations with valued partners and prospective customers. It’s also a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues from our subsidiaries, to discuss strategies and overall, it’s just a great place to find inspiration.
