INTERVIEW – PAYAM ZADEH

I’m proud to be

part of a company that has been at the forefront of payment security, efficiency, and innovation for 70 years

player engagement. Our anniversary was not just about looking back - it was about looking ahead and ensuring that our technology continues to drive the future of gaming.

MB: What were the big takeaways for you from ICE? PZ: One of the biggest takeaways was the strong interest in digital payment solutions, as operators are looking for seamless, secure, and effi cient transaction management. Our UBA Pro and Vega Pro Series and UBA Ultra bill validators received a lot of attention, especially for their accuracy, fraud detection, and adaptability in high-traffi c environments. We also saw growing demand for fl exible ticketing solutions, such as Ticket2Go, which allows operators to streamline transactions and enhance player convenience. The discussions we had at ICE confi rmed that the industry is focused on security, compliance, and automation, and JCM is positioned to lead the way in all these areas.

MB: What are your overall ambitions for 2025? PZ: Our main ambition is to continue driving innovation in transaction and payment solutions while expanding our global reach. We are committed to enhancing security, improving automation, and providing operators with the tools they need to create seamless gaming experiences. In 2025, we’ll also be strengthening our partnerships across different regions and exploring new opportunities in emerging markets.

MB: What products are you focused on right now? PZ: Right now, we are particularly focused on the UBA Pro Series, which includes the UBA Pro-RT, UBA Pro-RQ, and UBA Pro Ultra. These validators set new standards for reliability and adaptability, making them ideal for high-traffi c environments like casinos, gaming halls, and automated payment kiosks.

Our iVIZION-100 bill validator continues to be a

fl agship product, recognized for its unmatched accuracy and advanced fraud detection. Additionally, our GEN5 Printer and Coupon Express solutions are attracting strong interest due to their faster printing speeds and promotional capabilities.

APRIL 2025 9

MB: What other events will you be attending this year? PZ: In addition to ICE, we’ll be attending a range of key industry events worldwide. Some of the major ones include G2E Las Vegas, BEGE in Bulgaria and various regional gaming summits. These events are critical for us to showcase our latest technologies, meet with partners, and stay ahead of industry trends.

MB: How do you think the shape of JCM will change and evolve over the next few years?

PZ: JCM is constantly evolving to meet the needs of an industry that is rapidly digitizing. While cash remains an essential part of the gaming ecosystem, we are investing heavily in cashless, digital payment, and automation technologies to help operators offer seamless and secure transactions. I also see AI-driven analytics and data insights playing a bigger role in how transactions are managed, and JCM will continue developing smart solutions that allow operators to make data-driven decisions in real-time. As regulations tighten, our focus on compliance, fraud prevention, and operational effi ciency will become even more critical.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, partners, and industry colleagues for their continued trust in JCM Global. As we celebrate 70 years in the industry, we are more committed than ever to providing cutting-edge solutions that drive success for our clients. We look forward to an exciting 2025 and beyond!
