SUZOHAPP’s Sim Bielak named President of Global Gaming & Amusement Business
SUZOHAPP has appointed Sim Bielak to the position of President of Global Gaming & Amusement
Business. Bielak brings with him an extensive background in sales, business development and marketing. He joined SUZOHAPP in 2013 and served most recently in the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to SUZOHAPP, Bielak ran the global gaming business for
Crane Payment Solutions, achieving a high degree of success. This new role will allow him to leverage his experience and relationships to drive growth within this valued area of the SUZOHAPP business. “I am thrilled to have someone of Sim’s calibre running our core Gaming & Amusement business,” said Ken Brotman, Managing Director. “Sim knows this business well and will bring the knowledge and energy needed to serve our customers well and

Goa’s Big Daddy casino commences operation; Soler appointed

ffshore gaming destination Big Daddy casino boasts 110 gaming tables, VIP &
VVIP rooms in an area of around 50,000 square feet spread over three decks; with ‘no-limits’ tables, it is being touted as the biggest and most modern offshore
gaming destination in Asia. The casino has hired Thomas Soler to lead its surveillance department to oversee a gaming experience that the company says is on a par with Las Vegas and Macau, and not available anywhere else in the region. Soler brings with him more than 24 years of
experience in the gaming industry. He has worked in progressively more responsible positions in that time. Big Daddy Casino, a specially-commissioned 72 metre long, 24 metre wide Panamanian vessel, is
operated by Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited. It offers a regal ambiance to professional and amateur gamers out to try their skill at the various table games round-the-clock. The luxury ship also houses a multi-cuisine lavish restaurant offering the
best of local and global cuisines, a bar, a live barbecue area on the topmost deck, a sundeck and a variety of entertainment programmes including national and international acts to cater to its visitors. A spokesman said: “The company believes that Big Daddy Casino will immensely contribute to the growth of tourism of Goa. We look forward to working towards our goal of establishing Goa as a global offshore Gaming and Entertainment destination.”
Betfred smoothes customer onboarding process with new HooYu KYC journey

eading identity confirmation provider HooYu has partnered with bookmaker Betfred. In late April, Betfred went live with a new customer sign-up journey using the HooYu Identify platform after a review following the new age verification requirements from the UK Gambling Commission. Betfred already had strong KYC measures in place but they partnered with HooYu to optimise their sign-up
and KYC processes and provide a seamless customer journey. As a leading provider of KYC technology to some of the UK’s
largest banks, such as NatWest, HooYu also works with gaming operators to create a customer on-boarding journey designed not just to comply with the UKGC regulations, but to ensure that gaming operators don’t lose customers as a result of the new regulations. AGS acquires all assets of leading table-game innovator In Bet Gaming

GS has acquired all assets and operations of New
Jersey-based In Bet Gaming, a leading developer of proprietary table games and table-game side bets. AGS also announced that In Bet’s Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer Ronald LaDuca will join AGS’ executive team as Vice President of Table Products Sales. AGS Senior Vice President of Table Products John Hemberger said, “We have had a strong partnership with the In Bet team for a number of years, and in 2017 we bolstered our relationship by acquiring five of their dynamic table progressives that continue to drive business for us today. Now, in addition to investing in the remainder of their innovative game assets, we are thrilled to welcome In Bet Founder, President, and CEO Ron LaDuca to our sales team in a leadership role. We will leverage Ron’s many trusted, long-term relationships with table-game operators to continue to grow our table products business, while capitalizing on In Bet’s pioneering inventions to drive revenues and player engagement in the casino pit.” LaDuca, a gaming industry veteran of 30 years, brings more than a decade of executive experience to AGS. Under this agreement, AGS acquired four
proprietary games from In Bet Gaming: 3 Card Blitz – an exciting, fast-paced flush-based game in which the player and dealer compete to get the higher-valued hand. Dragon Poker – a four-card poker game in which players build traditional poker hands with a special deck of 53 Asian-themed cards. Double Down Blackjack – a quick-paying blackjack-style game in which players vie for the higher point total against the dealer. Straight to the Flush – a new poker game in which the player builds their largest straight or flush and goes heads-up against the dealer.
These games, along with numerous AGS table products innovations, will be on display at the Global Gaming Expo from October 15-17th on the AGS booth 1253.
