enting Casino Cromwell Mint will undergo a multi-million pound refurbishment which will see the club rebrand as Forty Five
Kensington. The new cosmopolitan venue will combine world-class gaming and a first-class dining experience in the heart of South Kensington. The property, located at 45 Cromwell Road,
which initially opened for business in the early 1960s as the ’45 Club, will receive a complete makeover. The gaming area will be upgraded with the addition of a new private gaming room and there will be a greater focus on hospitality, with changes to bar and restaurant. The size of the electronic gaming area is set to
increase with the addition of more electronic gaming tables. Meanwhile, the main gaming floor will undergo significant upgrades and continue to offer customers a tailored gaming experience hosted by some of the UK’s finest croupiers. Forty Five Kensington will be open to both casino members and non-members. The addition of a first-class gaming room will offer guests the

known as The Stratosphere, has recently undergone an $140 million renovation and rebrand which includes a full
upgrade of the casino gaming floor. TCSJOHNHUXLEY was chosen to supply all the gaming equipment for this iconic Las Vegas strip property. The new gaming floor consists of 40 gaming tables consisting of 31 Blackjack, 6 Roulette and 3 Craps tables, all custom-designed and built to complement the stunning new décor. In addition, the casino installed, 6 Saturn Glo Roulette Wheels, 4 Chipper Champ 2 chipping machines, 6 Elite 2 29” displays and 5 pit podiums. To complete the live gaming equipment, 2 Blaze Roulette tables will be installed soon. The whole project was particularly
challenging as all the work had to be carried out while the casino was still in full operation, however the TCSJOHNHUXLEY team worked very closely with the STRAT to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum.

Maverick signs agreement for Washington casinos
averick Gaming has signed a definitive purchase agreement for the Macau Casino in Lakewood, the Macau Casino in Tukwila, the Caribbean Casino in Kirkland and the Caribbean Cardroom in Kirkland, and the Caribbean Casino in Yakima, all in Washington state, US. “This purchase gives Maverick eighteen card rooms in Washington and nearly 275 table games in that market,” said Eric Persson, owner of Maverick Gaming. “In the next month we expect to give details on another five Washington
properties, and will begin to outline our growth strategy which includes a comprehensive entertainment product inclusive of restaurants, hotel rooms, meeting space and of course table games,” said Mr. Persson. “We are quickly becoming an employer of choice in Washington. With over 3,000 jobs – which have an average salary above $75,000 and great benefits, we have a great team and are looking forward to investing another $100 million into this state over the next few years,” said Tim Merrill, President of Maverick Washington. “Growing up in Hoquiam Washington, and as a member of the Shoalwater
