PPDS displays in restaurant B

espoke Belgian restaurant Nenuphar has worked with PPDS to do away with paper as it installs four e-displays. The lavish, 18th-century, dining destination near Ghent, has fitted four Philips Tableaux Advanced Colour ePaper digital signage series in its bar, restaurant, event, and restroom areas.

With these digital displays, the popular tourist destination can show multiple adverts, offers, pictures or even the

restaurant’s menu, changing between each with ease; doing away with paper decorations

Guillaume De Breyne, operational director at Nenuphar, said: “Our new Philips Tableaux digital poster displays fit right into the ethos and the aesthetics of Nenuphar, enabling us to take a more sustainable approach that looks great and enhances our brand.”

High praise for DryTac Textures by Signs Express Gloucester S

its recent projects.

The company was tasked with creating eye-catching graphics for a customer’s office interior, making use of both black and white, and coloured images. Identifying the need for a material that would perform well across these two elements, Drytac’s ReTac Textures was elected as the product of choice, specifically with the sand finish to help enhance the imagery.

The product features an ultra-removable adhesive backing and is printable on

Sign Architects completes nationwide project S

ign Architects has completed a nationwide project looking to standardise the signage of one of

its clients.

Tiles DIY came to the Barking-based sign-makers with a brief of adding consistency and quality to its branding strategy and a product that can be displayed across all of its depots in the UK. The process required national co-ordination between multiple locations, as well as negotiations with Tiles DIY over logistics and time restrictions. It also required understanding multiple different regulations across several local areas.

After many consultations and meetings with the client’s management, a brief was finalised.

Now, across all Tiles DIY destinations, the signage is uniform, sleek, and more recognisable to its clients.

Centre manager, Lee Villers, said: “The material is so easy to work with, we did not encounter any challenges during the printing or installation of the piece. “It was all very straightforward for our team, both on-site at our facility and when installing the final product on location. “The customer gave us great feedback and was very pleased with the installation.”
