InkTec appoints head of newly formed technical sales support team

nkTec has appointed its first-ever head of its technical sales support team as it creates the new initiative to enhance its customer service.


Long-standing employee Ian Windebank has been given the role as the newly made team will offer support for both the JETRIX printer series and InkTec’s extensive range of DTF and UV-DTF solutions.

The team will focus on a range of activities designed to elevate InkTec’s customer experience, including: Conducting live demonstrations and managing demo equipment, offering virtual, live, and remote demonstrations for those unable to visit, and cultivating strong client relationships to understand and address their unique needs.


New sales manager for Liyu UK in hopes of increasing UK presence


W


es Small is hoping to bring his 12 years of experience to a new role as he joins Liyu


UK as the company’s new UK national sales manager.


Having held senior positions at EFI, CMYUK, and Agfa, the printer company hopes his expertise in the field will help bolster its presence in the UK. Managing director, Eddie Tucker, said: “Wes has the knowledge and skills to build on this momentum and take us to the next level. I believe we have appointed him at exactly the right time.


“Wes’ experience and track record is exactly what Liyu UK needs as we look to develop our presence in the UK further.”


Mr Small’s introduction to the company included seeing the company’s machines in action as featured at the recent Viscom international trade fair for visual communication in Milan. “My main role is to build strong relationships with customers and partners and to develop our market awareness, perception, and reputation,”


Managing director, Joey Kim, said: “InkTec is entering a pivotal phase of growth. Ian’s extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with JETRIX printers will ensure this new team delivers exceptional customer support while helping us build a foundation for sustainable growth in 2025 and beyond.”


Mr Windebank will be joined by Pedro Hernandez, who will initially focus on direct to film-related activities. Over time, Mr Hernandez will expand his responsibilities to include support for the JETRIX product line.


Wes Small joins Liyu UK as new UK national sales manager


Mr Small said. “I am very excited about what can be achieved with Liyu UK.”


Brothers appointed into director roles at Soyang Europe S Oliver and Simon Mashiter | 24 | January/February 2025


oyang Europe has announced a double promotion for two long-standing staff members. Oliver Mashiter has become the new sales director succeeding the soon-to-retire, Andrew Simmons. Oliver’s key objectives will be planning how to achieve sales targets, setting up new systems that will help both customers and his team, and researching new markets and products. He will continue to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and assist the Soyang sales managers with account visits.


Brother, Simon, has also been promoted


to operations director for media, taking charge of all operations across the media teams in Soyang Europe. He will evaluate the business’ operations and identify any areas that can be improved.


The pair have been working in their new roles since October under the leadership of their father Mark Mashiter, who has been managing director since June 2005. He said: “Both very much deserve to progress, having built up a tremendous knowledge of the company over the past 12 years or so.


“I very much look forward to seeing how they help the business continue to grow.”
