FESPA Review

production environments. As SEG graphics, stretch fabrics, and textile displays continue to grow in popularity, the company found that visitors were particularly interested in how automation can help overcome sewing bottlenecks while also supporting more sustainable production workflows. years, so it was an exciting experience for the team. We were delighted with the appearance of our stand and pleased that it attracted significant attention from visitors. The experience has encouraged us to exhibit again, and we will be attending the UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show in Telford this October.”

Inkcups Inkcups presented two solutions from its direct to object printing portfolio, with a focus on drinkware. The X5-T High Throw flatbed UV printer enables flawless printing on up to 25% of the area of contoured, rounded, slightly curved and irregularly shaped objects. During FESPA, visitors to the stand

were able to see it printing directly onto mugs with handles. Alongside this, the Helix ONE benchtop cylindrical printer was demonstrated printing onto shot glasses, which is a capability that was made possible by the expanded diameter capabilities in combination with GL primer, Inkcups’ no-flame wipe-on glass primer. Visitors were able to see a large number of additional applications on Inkcups’ stand, including spirit measures, pint glasses, water bottles, and thermal flasks.

Drinkware is a lucrative area within

promotional print, as well as in print personalisation and print-on-demand, and from how busy Inkcups was, this was definitely of interest for visitors. Printers are always looking for ways

to differentiate themselves and expand what they offer their customers, and when they see the possibilities enabled by DTO technology, they can’t help but be excited by it. Hendrik Koemans, sales director

Europe at Inkcups said: “As well as bringing our applications to life, events like FESPA provide a great platform for us to have those valuable conversations with existing and new customers, and allow them to ask our technicians, who were on hand all week, any questions they may have. “There was also a real diversity of

visitors to our stand, from small ‘mom and pop’ businesses exploring ways to expand into personalisation and promotional print, to larger organisations seeking prototyping solutions. “Most importantly, FESPA always

provides a fantastic opportunity to meet with our customers and learn more about how direct to object printing is driving their success, so that is always a real highlight for us.”

PLASTGrommet PLASTGrommet showcased its growing portfolio of banner and textile finishing technologies designed to help wide-format print businesses streamline production and eliminate bottlenecks through automation. One of the standout themes of the show was the increasing interest in textile finishing and hybrid

were the All In One Edge, which brings finishing automation within reach for businesses that do not yet require the highest production throughput, and the Hybrid TexWiz, its hybrid banner (welding) and textile finishing (sewing) platform developed to support the growing demand for fabric signage and soft signage applications. PLASTGrommet also demonstrated its

upgraded finishing station with its new eyelet mark-reading camera system, alongside its Evolve Air Welder, eyelet presses, eyelets, media roll lifters, and storage solutions. The response throughout the event

certainly exceeded expectations. Visitors were welcomed from around the world across both stands and had many valuable conversations with businesses looking to improve productivity and reduce labour pressures. Rafa Menendez, head of sales,

PLASTGrommet, said: “FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 was our biggest and we believe our most successful FESPA presence to date. “It was fantastic to be in our home

country, as all our equipment is proudly designed and manufactured in Spain, which made this year’s show particularly special for us and created a brilliant atmosphere across both of our stands throughout the week. “We were delighted to demonstrate

how finishing automation is becoming an increasingly important part of that conversation.”
