FESPA Review FESPA’s familiar faces
You’ve heard from the organisers; now it’s time to hear from those who exhibited. With five shows co-locating in the one place, there were so many big names looking to seize the opportunity. Here’s what a few of them had to say about this year’s event.
from mass customisation and on-demand production to high-quality graphics and interior décor applications. It was particularly encouraging to see
strong interest in technologies that help businesses improve productivity, expand into new applications and futureproof their operations. A key highlight from the show was
Canon’s European debut of the Colorado XL-series 3.4m printer, where we showcased both rigid and flexible media production live throughout the show. Visitors were able to see first-hand the
versatility, productivity and application range of Canon’s UVgel technology across sectors including signage, interior décor, retail, point of sale and packaging. These demonstrations highlighted
swissQprint made quite the splash at FESPA
swissQprint Under the motto ‘Made for Winners – Loved by Thousands’, swissQprint showed at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona how print service providers can run efficient production and differentiate themselves in the market with versatile applications. Live demos with the high-end
Kudu flatbed printer and the Karibu 2 roll-to-roll printer formed the centrepiece of the stand. Both machines produced a mix
of everyday applications and more eye-catching, value-added work, including neon prints, colour-changing effects and tactile finishes. Conversations with industry professionals confirmed a clear trend: in today’s market, differentiated applications are becoming increasingly important for many print businesses. Visitors in Barcelona were able to
experience the capabilities of these printers and indeed the full swissQprint range firsthand. Alongside the live demonstrations, a wide-ranging print sample display drew consistent attention. It illustrated the variety of applications and encouraged in-depth technical discussions.

the commercial potential of mass customisation and highly efficient on-demand production.
