UV LED flatbed printer, and a JWEI JCUT-2131 digital cutting table from CMYUK. The latest investment in equipment from the reseller underpins the company’s commercial ambitions and growth, despite commercial print manager, Chris Payne, calling the flatbed printer purchase ‘an impulse purchase with multiple wins’. Likewise, the JWEI JCUT-2131 quickly became an indispensable part of the company’s production workflow. Sitting alongside an existing CNC machine and laser cutter, it replaced an old Aristo cutting table and handles all of Arcola’s daily cutting needs. Mr Payne said: “It’s our Swiss Army

Knife cutting through lots of different types of materials and is very versatile. It’s easy to operate, offers good speeds, and it’s quicker to set up than our dedicated CNC.” Arcola is fast approaching its 60th
year in business. Its success has come through clear thinking, calculated decisions, and a commitment to developing new ways of doing business. Mr Payne added: “We’re always looking to innovate and to bring new revenue streams and products to market. It’s what we enjoy doing and it’s a strength of ours. “With a diverse production facility with
everything in-house, we have the ability and the flexibility to try out new ideas at low cost and see how the market responds.”
nvesting in four new printers has helped Hinckley-based Inspire CNC Manufacturing to increase production speed, boost capacity and reduce turnaround times for customers. Two new ColorJet Verve Mini LED UV printers, a Q-Series QUV-60 UV-DTF device and a Q Series DTF machine were recently purchased from Quality Print Services. To support its initial move into printing, Inspire CNC purchased two new ColorJet Verve Mini LED UV printers from QPS in mid-2023. Following a successful two years of operation, the company recently made the decision to significantly bolster its production setup, returning to QPS for a further four machines. Andy Whotton, company director at Inspire CNC, said: “This investment has allowed us to boost production speed and capacity, ensuring we can complete more work in less time, without having to compromise on quality.”
