Hollywood Monster continues technology evolution with latest EFI M3h printer H


ollywood Monster has invested in an EFI M3h UV LED hybrid printer from CMYUK to replace


an older EFI VUTEk HS125 platform. This is the 14th EFI printer that Hollywood Monster has purchased from the reseller and marks another milestone of technological advancement for the business. Simon McKenzie, CEO, said: “The


two HS125s have been great printers, and they have worked really hard for us


and our clients. “But as we continue to grow, we needed to upgrade. We have consistently chosen EFI technology because they continually push the boundaries of what’s possible while also helping us reduce our carbon footprint.” Its proven track record has earned the

Muraspec doubles up on swissQprint technology

allpaper covering specialist, Muraspec, has invested in a second Karibu roll-to-roll


printer from swissQprint thanks to rise in demand and a need for further capacity. John Langfield, Muraspec’s design process and digital manager, said: “The print quality from the Karibu has been absolutely brilliant. We have printed 250,000sq m with the first machine and it has proved to be very reliable.” The Karibu’s nine colour channels can be configured with a wide range of speciality


BEL Signs speeds up production with new VeloBlade Nexus 2516

he addition of a VeloBlade Nexus 2516 wide-format digital die cutter has enabled BEL Signs to significantly speed up production. Helping to speed up production the


machine includes features such as automatic cut depth setting and tool change, making production easier for the user, as well as the ability to cut, crease and perf in a single pass. Peter Bedford, managing director, said:


“We can now take on quick turnaround orders that include large amounts of cutting and still do them at a sensible
