Having achieved growth of 54 per cent for Smoby last year, Simba Smoby Toys UK is looking to continue the momentum with the addition of some brilliant new lines.
The Disney Frozen Playhouse comes in the Frozen colourway, decorated with Elsa and Anna images; it’s the perfect place for little fans to recreate their favourite movie moments. Also not to be missed is the Sweet Corner Playhouse; this ice-cream parlour comes packed with fun features to make role-play as realistic as possible. And kids can host their own barbecue summer parties with the Smoby Garden Kitchen – it comes fully fitted with a grill, a fryer, and a sink with a water pump. Meanwhile, perfect for encouraging active play is the Smoby Adventure Course, which comes with a variety of base and walking board pieces that can be configured differently each time. Meanwhile, Simba Smoby Toys UK continues to offer a host of pretend play possibilities, with doll brands B-Kind and Steffi Love. B-Kind is the new collection that is offering families a greener option in the doll aisle. Designed to promote messages of kindness and creativity, they have been created to be more environmentally friendly. B-Kind dolls are made from recycled materials and come presented in eco-fashions. What’s more, each character comes boxed in reusable packaging made from recycled materials. There are five characters to collect; each has her own interest, from going green, to saving the oceans, to ending bullying. The dolls also come with a different DIY activity, such as making an upcycled doll’s outfit, creating a set of BFF bracelets, and more. From Steffi Love comes a host of new fashion doll themes that were
well received at Toy Fair. From sporty sets to the “Happy Animal” theme, hairdressing, fashion and fantasy concepts, there are so many new lines to pick from. Sure to be a hit is Steffi Love Swap Mermaid. Kids can give her a makeover by turning over the sequins to reveal a new look. For fitness-themed fun there’s Steffi Love Bike Tour – which comes with a bicycle, helmet, basket, dog and baby – and Steffi Love Sport, a yoga-themed set. Plus, there’s Steffi Love Dolphin Fun, a scuba-diving
themed set that comes with a diving-suit-clad Steffi doll and a pink dolphin to make friends with. There’s big news for the JADA Toys collection, with the launch of the latest Batmobile, based on new film The Batman, in its Hollywood Rides range. The Batman 1:32 Scale is a perfect replica of the bat-hero’s latest set of wheels, complete with a scaled Batman metal figure. There are now seven 1:32 scale Batmobile with Batman packs to collect, each modelled on one of The Caped Crusader’s on-screen appearances. Also available in the Hollywood Rides range is a host of iconic properties including Back to the Future, Scooby Doo, Jurassic Park, and more. An evergreen seller is
the 1:32 scale Fast & Furious range, which includes detailed replicas of popular cars from the eight-film franchise, as well as Hobbs & Shaw. Perfect for kids and kidult collectors is the Majorette range of die-cast vehicles. These premium 3in scale cars boast opening doors, suspension and transparent front lights. The collection is available to retailers as a 36-piece CDU, with a mix of 18 car models and themed cars. A popular pocket-money buy, the collection comprises a strong portfolio of licensed cars, including Mercedes and Porsche, and this year sees the addition of new themes to collect, including “Italian Dream Cars” and “Best of British”.

DKB has expanded exponentially since it first launched last year. With ranges spanning multiple industries and markets, the company will be bringing a cross-section of its product line offerings to the Toymaster May Show this year and the team are hugely excited to showcase new client ranges for the first time here in the UK.

The product is fully EN71 tested, CE marked and ready to make waves second time around, with interest in the range already off the scale.
