Megan Nolloth, National Accounts Assistant, One for Fun
When Megan returned to work after her maternity leave she had to cover a huge amount of work due to the Sales Team being thin on the ground at the time. She took on tasks that would not normally be part of her remit, even providing full admin support
during the evenings or on her days off . The One for Fun management team praised her as “a great communicator, excellent with customers, persistent in problem solving and a solid support to her colleagues. We have never heard her complain about her workload and she gets involved wherever she can, most recently helping with recruiting. She is truly an asset to the company.”
Chris Sear, Senior Account Manager, Generation Media
With almost eight years under his belt in the advertising industry, Chris is an integral part of the Generation Media account management team and despite his relatively young age is considered a genuine expert within the fi eld. After recently being
promoted to the position of Senior Account Manager, Chris has successfully managed over a thousand linear and digital campaigns for his clients just in the last year. A Generation Media spokesperson commented: “Due to his continuous driven and innovative mindset, all of Chris’s campaigns deliver successful results – something which the company and his clients are equally delighted about!”
Bárbara Pérez, Illustrator/Web Designer, ToyZone
Bárbara is a highly valued part of the team at ToyZone, the 360 toy agency, where she conceptualises and creates appealing toys. Her nominators praise her as a genuine team player who “is kind and, most importantly, always smiling!” With a degree in illustration,
talented Bárbara has worked on a freelance basis in the past for top publishers, including Penguin Random House Group, but her colleagues hope that she’ll make ToyZone her permanent home. “She’s someone who you just love to have around,” says one. “She’s always helping, always laughing, and is great at developing new ideas and magical worlds that every kid would love to visit.”
Jakob Todd, Graphic Designer, One for Fun
Jakob was nominated by the management team at One for Fun “not just for his outright creativity, but because he is always looking to take on new challenges which benefi t the company as well as himself”. Jakob has helped to create the new branding
for One for Fun and is consolidating the new brand through advertising and marketing strategies. The management team also praised Jakob’s adaptability: “He not only learns any new skills required but also takes ownership of the tasks,” a spokesperson says. “He is also more than happy to help out in other areas. Jakob is a great asset, not only to the design team but to the business as a whole.”
Pilar Sánchez Rodríguez, Associate Director of Digital, Generation Media
Pilar joined Generation Media during the pandemic, bringing a wide range of digital skills to the agency’s established digital off ering. Having started her career at Disney, Pilar boasts a well-rounded knowledge of
the children, young people and family markets, among others, which allows her to look holistically at all verticals and apply diff erent learnings, as well as exciting new variations, to digital planning. Nominators describe her as “an impressively tenacious team player who is driven in challenging herself to learn and develop new skills and apply these back to her role, her team and her clients.”
Skye Woodward, Business Development, Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide
Working across business development, sales and account management at Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide, Skye has developed a reputation for being a “hugely enthusiastic” member of staff . “She is always on hand to help
on a task and will work diligently to deliver a fantastic service to our clients,” a colleague asserts. Skye only joined the company in June 2021 but since then has proven more than adept at gaining new skills. “As a complete newbie to the toy industry we are very proud of how quickly Skye is picking everything up across the business and the industry as a whole,” her nominator says.
