Rosie Gissing, Wheels Category Sales Manager, Plum Play

In the four years since Rosie joined Plum Play as a Junior Account Manager for the UK and Eire, she has on-boarded and grown some of the company’s most successful accounts, with both Plum outdoor play equipment and distribution

brands Globber and Injusa. She has recently started a new role as Wheels Category Manager, and is now dedicated to delivering sales and brand growth in this sector for both independent and national customers. Rosie has been set ambitious targets for 2022 – increasing sales by 60 per cent for Globber and Injusa – which her Plum Play nominators have every faith that she’ll achieve.

Valentine Jourdan, Senior Export Sales Executive and Social Media Co-ordinator, One for Fun

“Valentine goes above and beyond to make things happen,” asserts the One for Fun management team. “She cares about all aspects of the business and continuously strives to improve things. Her amazing attention to detail has

enabled her to lead our export department through Brexit and then the pandemic. We are so grateful for her impressive ability to deal with customer problems and frustrations and for her calm handling of the majority of the logistics. Valentine really is someone very special and the work she has done over her time with One for Fun so far is extraordinary. She defi nitely deserves recognition.”

Hayley Holland, Junior Product Manager, Ravensburger

Hayley joined the Ravensburger family in 2019 and has proven to be, according to a colleague, “a true rising star in the marketing and product development team”, praised for her “creativity, maturity and enthusiasm”. She has risen to

the challenge of managing Ravensburger’s trade PR copy, award entries and media enquiries, and recently impressed everyone in the company with her aptitude for learning more about product design, becoming a key team player in the successful launch of painting by numbers range CreArt. Unsurprisingly, she has just been given a well-deserved promotion, and will now manage product development across the entire children’s puzzle portfolio.

Mathilde Le Borgne, Head of Marketing for the Licensing Portfolio, Informa Markets

In charge of a huge international team and responsible for all the marketing across Brand Licensing Europe, B&LIS, Licensing Expo in the States and License Global magazine, Mathilde (aka Tilly) is famously modest about

her achievements despite being described as “a true force to be reckoned with” by Informa Markets’ Anna Knight, SVP, Licensing. “She’s an amazing leader and marketer, juggling the demands of delivering a successful global marketing strategy across events, media and digital solutions, while also embedding herself in the toy and brand licensing industries and making sure our products and messages are in line with market needs and requirements,” says Anna.

Rebecca Ireland, Senior Account Manager, Carousel PR

Since entering the world of toys at Carousel four years ago, Rebecca has made an impressive mark on the industry, delivering impactful campaigns for a variety of toy brands across the MGA Entertainment and Zapf Creation portfolio, including Little

Tikes, Rainbow High, Bratz, Baby Annabell and BABY born. Rebecca’s eye for spotting a news angle means she knows how to get the best out of her clients and she currently runs successful press offi ces across the agency, with fantastic results to prove it. Rebecca’s enthusiasm and unrivalled organisation skills have made her a major asset to Carousel, resulting in her recent promotion to Senior Account Manager.

Rachel Longstone, Marketing Manager, Golden Bear Toys

Largely responsible for bringing all digital marketing in-house, Rachel has made a big impact at Golden Bear Toys within her fi rst year of joining the business, according to her nominators. Recently promoted to Marketing Manager, her achievements

include contributing to the company’s website relaunch and highly successful virtual sales platform, the creation and implementation of innovative social campaigns, plus providing strategic and insights-driven benchmarks within the marketing department to continually improve outputs. Perhaps even more impressive is that Rachel achieved all of this while studying for her MSc in Digital Marketing.
