way of working, which translates to using local supply chains at a global level. Globalocal, a term coined by Agilitas, focuses on the use of local supply chains to reduce environmental impact, with many technology channel leaders citing it as a significant focus moving forward. According to McKinsey, the average company’s supply chain generates far more social and environmental costs than its operations, accounting for more than 80% of greenhouse-gas emissions and 90% of the impact on air, land, water, biodiversity, and geological resources.
