It’s all about the people
iversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is more than a just a buzzword, it’s a statement that frames how people should treat each other, not only in business, but everyday life. It’s a phrase that should be
unnecessary and redundant, but instead is an essential reminder that everyone must be considered and respected, and that everyone has the potential to bring something unique to the table.
In this month’s issue we look at diversity in business and Ghazal Asif of
Rubrik discusses why the channel will play an important role in solving the tech industry’s DE&I challenge, while Nick Tiltman and Anna-Marie Constantinou of TD Synnex reveal why committing to DE&I makes business sense and why their diverse business resource groups have been a revelation. Sami Jenkins of ThreatLocker shares her insight on how women can make it in the tech world.
Meanwhile retail can be an incredibly creative process and Marc Maleh from Valtech, reveals
five experience design principles retailers can ‘borrow’ from theme parks. James Bradley from Deko, discusses the growth of checkout finance and Laurent Kretzschmar of Opia discusses the changing behaviour of consumers. Warren Playford of Agilitas explains how ‘globalocal’ supply chains can help reduce environmental impacts while extending market reach.

from Gigamon talks about observability, the hybrid cloud and security. Last, but most definitely not least, the PCR Awards took place on 21 September, and within
these pages we reveal who won what and give you just a glimpse of the excitement on the night. I hope you find this issue informative and interesting.
