Presentations and Talks We’re going to be doing things a little bit differently at iceBike* 2026. Instead of the usual seminar line-up, we are making things a bit more interactive with daily panels, talks, interviews and booth demonstrations. The focus will overwhelmingly be on encouraging proactivity, learning from others and taking advantage of opportunities, despite a challenging market. Not only does it give visitors a chance to learn and share
knowledge, but through our panel discussions, it’s an opportunity to get a feel for the current state of the industry. Over in the presentation area, Shimano is hosting its 2026
New Product Presentation – please note that any guests who wish to attend it must sign an NDA. Followed by this will be a wide range of interviews, so pay close attention to the schedule to attend the one that interests you. Hear from London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner,
Dr Will Norman, who will be interviewed by Scott Cain of the Bicycle Association about London’s cycling vision and the role that local bike shops have to play. We’re also excited to welcome Andy Graham from Projekt Ride, a relatively new, progressive and community-driven bike shop in Edinburgh. During this interview, we will explore how Projekt Ride has built a customer base through rental and lease schemes and a strong connection with its local cycling community – both in the real world and online. Hear from key retailers as they share experiences and best practices to help bike shops get inspired for 2026. Peter
Entertainment and extras Striking the balance between work and play is an important part of every show. For 2026, we’re bringing back the Velodrome Experience sessions, allowing customers to take to the boards at two iconic venues. When it comes to the evenings, we’ve upped the game for 2026. When the clock hits 5 pm on Sunday, 8th and Thursday, 12th February, everyone is encouraged to head straight to the Croix de Bar. We’re serving incredible Indian street food from the award-winning Patel’s Pies! We’re also getting nostalgic with our 80s Rock and 00s
Pop x iceBike* inspired cocktails during Happy Hour. So, you can continue those important conversations and treat yourself after a day at the show.
Eland from the Bicycle Association and Jonathan Harrison from the Association of Cycle Traders will also be discussing e-Bikes in the UK and how we can build trust in this growing market. Special attention will be paid to the E-Bike Positive campaign, which is crucial in improving public perception and confidence. Join Madison CEO Dominic Langan and Brand Director Scott Longstaff on stage with a host of industry leaders as they discuss the impact the pandemic had on the industry and what we need to do next. Finally, our incredibly popular panel is back for 2026. Once again, Dom will be joined by several key people in the bike industry, including Dr Will Norman, to talk about the challenges facing the UK bike market and answer questions from the audience. Away from the presentation area, the brand booths will be awash with activity, demos and new products to see. To name just a few, the Shimano booth will be offering tech talks on chains, disc brake bleeding and wireless MTB pairing. Head to stands to see GTechniq demonstrating ceramic coating and waterproofer, Basil showcasing and explaining MIK, speak to the Madison Clothing designers and try out brand new products from the likes of Quad Lock, PRO, Park Tool, Aeroe, BikeFitting, Truflo and more. Professor James Morton, Chief Scientific Officer at SiS, will be at both shows. Formerly of INEOS, Team Sky and Liverpool FC, he has some incredible insights to share about how the right nutrition can make all the difference to your training..
