FRANCHISEFOCUS INVESTMENT: FROM £30,000 Can-do!
NIC Local: a business model with true support, from an industry-leading brand
N
IC Local is one of the UK’s leading commercial cleaning providers through a franchise network.
With over 150 years of combined industry experience of their senior management team, NIC has the knowledge to confidently make every franchisee a commercial cleaning success. With an annual spend in excess of
£8.8billion, and growing every year, the commercial cleaning industry offers you a great opportunity in a resilient sector that is largely unaffected by economic conditions or seasonal trends. The NIC Local business model gives
you the opportunity to invest in a true management franchise. You will be leading a team to deliver client services whilst building a scalable business with a proven model that does not limit your growth potential. NIC does not look for people with prior
experience in commercial cleaning as they provide you with the training and tools needed to succeed. NIC award franchise rights to individuals that possess strong people skills, a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and the drive to build a substantial business.
Support With over 25 years’ experience in the franchise industry, the NIC Local team knows what it takes to run a successful business and delivers to their franchisees training that, as well as giving them the operational knowledge, also ensures that they have the confidence to develop their business using their proven systems and methods. Ongoing support provided to
franchisees builds on NIC Local’s initial training. Knowing that a sizeable proportion of a franchisees time will be spent on business development activities, NIC Local invests in a team of Business Development Managers (BDM) to support franchisees.
“A resilient sector, largely unaected by economic conditions or seasonal trends”
With an industry-leading ratio of
BDM to franchisee, NIC Local supports franchisees through the entire sales cycle from implementing their local marketing strategy through to operational support mobilising the contracts won. This vital support is available at no added cost for as long as you are an NIC Local franchisee. NIC Local also understand that
administrative tasks are unavoidable when running your own business – tasks that would normally take you away from business development activities, of course. This is why, in addition to the BDM support, NIC Local provide franchisees with comprehensive business services support to take care of your invoicing, credit control and payroll.
What will I do as a franchisee? In addition to business growth, NIC Local franchisees are responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of their business. Strong managerial and people skills are essential, along with commercial awareness.
You will employ, train, and lead a
team to deliver the day-to-day operations, allowing you to focus on working with your BDM to maximise growth opportunities. As your business grows, you will employ supervisors who will focus on operational delivery of the services leaving you free to focus on growth, relationship management and overall strategy. Investing in an NIC Local management
franchise offers a winning combination of benefits, including a proven business model, scalability, and access to proven systems. With the level of ongoing support NIC Local provides, franchisees are set up for success, even without prior experience in the industry.
