Here you’ll find a plethora of franchise brands under one roof, giving you the perfect opportunity to talk to franchisors face to face, maybe even talk to a current

franchisee, find out what the brand is offering, and if they align with your personal values and can meet your business goals.

Do your research You may like to research brands that interest you before you go. Full details of exhibitors and investment costs can be found at franchiseinfo.co.uk/ franchiseexhibitions. You may even like to complete our free online Prospective Franchisee Certificate2

and you’re a good potential candidate.

Come to one of our talks As the UK’s self-regulatory body for franchising, we will be giving talks across the two days about the basics of buying a franchise and franchising your existing business. See the show guide for times and locations.

which will ensure

you are fully familiar with what it means to be a franchisee and will give you tips on how to complete your research thoroughly and effectively.

Questions to ask Questions you might like to ask could include: 1. What qualities does your highest performing franchisee have?

2. What is the most important thing for me to do to succeed as a franchisee with you?

Franchisors love challenging questions, as it means you’ve done your homework

Your friend in franchising The BFA stand will be fully manned over the two days by our highly experienced head office team, who will be on hand to answer any of your questions about franchising, from: ‘What’s the safest way to buy a franchise?’ to ‘What is a management franchise?’ There’s no such thing as a silly question and we look forward to meeting you and answering any queries you may have.

Buyer Beware Investing in a franchise is not a decision to be taken lightly, even taking into consideration our impressive survey results which show that only 0.5% of franchises close due to ‘commercial failure’ every year.
