Lunch meetings back in business this summer


Following sell-outs in April and May, Bedford Blues are pleased to announce dates for all Business Lunch meetings throughout the summer months and encourage everyone to contact the club as soon as possible to book on to future gatherings to avoid any disappointment. Following a return in March after a sabbatical


through COVID-19, the Blues Business Lunch meetings have been well received, with more than 40 local businesses heading down to Goldington Road to share insights into the business world and learn more about Bedford Blues, with preparations already under way for the 22/23 campaign. A great opportunity for local businesses to


meet in informal settings, the meetings include a two-course meal and the opportunity to meet key stakeholders associated with Bedford Blues.


T e next meetings will be held on Wednesdays


June 29, July 27, August 31 and September 28 and start at 12.30pm at Bedford Blues Rugby Club in Goldington Road, Bedford. Meetings cost £22 plus VAT (£18 plus VAT for club sponsors) On Wednesday June 29 the squad for the 22/23


season will be assembled and ready to go with pre-season looming. Guests will get the lowdown on the summer signings. T e meeting on Wednesday, August 31 will be held with pre-season well and truly under way, with key fi xtures throughout the month ahead of the Championship season beginning. On Wednesday, September 28, with three


Championship fi xtures played, guests will hear an early assessment of the campaign alongside excit- ing plans for the club’s charity, Blues Foundation.
