Première Vision

paris | S/S 2024

Since the pandemic, the number of visitors to the physical edition of Première Vision in Paris keeps growing. A total of 34,548 visitors, of which 70% were international attendees from 118 different countries, made the journey to discover what 1,246 exhibitors had to offer for the Spring/Summer 2024 season.

At every edition Première Vision offers new tools and services to guide brands and buyers in their search for suppliers, specifically regarding those who offer environmental sustainable solutions and materials. To help visitors understand sustainable initiatives in the market, Première Vision prioritised six material- related criteria and a dozen related certifications and labels. These provide a simple overview of the various measures manufacturers are taking to become more environmentally and socially respectful. The popularity of the Smart Creation area where concrete sustainable sourcing and production

solutions were presented, shows that visitors shared this focus with the organisation of the event. The show itself keeps evolving as well in order to meet the challenges of the sector’s transformation. This includes not only the transition to sustainability but also such issues as the impact of the public health crisis on clothing consumption, the implications of the geopolitical crisis and the adaptation strategies for supply chains. For the upcoming July 2023 edition, the organisors have therefore announced that the event will be completely revamped. This will feature environmental sustainability as the new paradigm at the heart of the event’s repositioning and offer.
