Sherry McAllister, D.C. (`96), President of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, was honored with the 2025 Dr. Beatrice B. Hagen Award at Logan University’s Symposium on May 2, 2025. In her acceptance speech, Dr. McAllister emphasized the importance of living boldly, leading with integrity, and striving to do what is right, reflecting the pioneering spirit of Dr. Beatrice B. Hagen.


Pamela Daniels, D.C. (`97), was reappointed to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, where she has served since 2021.


Cathy Subber, D.C. (`98), celebrated 25 years of serving the Naperville, Illinois, community through her chiropractic practice and 15 years of supporting local mothers through her online community, “The Branch.”

Juan Ferry, D.C. (`68), celebrated 55 years at his practice in Hanover, Massachusetts, and is recognized for his lifelong dedication to Dr. Gonstead’s approach to correcting subluxations.


`70s


Glenda Foy, D.C. (`75), retired from her practice in January 2025 after decades of serving the Aledo, Illinois, community.


`80s


Lisa Killinger, D.C. (`83), opened Killinger Family Chiropractic in Bettendorf, Iowa in June 2024. Prior to starting her practice, she taught at Palmer for nearly 30 years and retired from the College in 2024.


Becky Grimm, D.C. (`86), retired from her practice in Quincy, Illinois, in July 2024 after more than 31 years of service to her community.


Lora Tanis, D.C. (`89), was appointed to Foot Levelers’ Speakers Bureau, bringing over 35 years of experience in pediatric and maternal chiropractic care to support the company’s mission of delivering expert continuing education content to associations and educational institutions across the U.S.

Stephen Cooper, D.C. (`92), was named the 2024 Alabama State Chiropractic Association (ASCA) Chiropractor of the Year on June 7 in Birmingham.


Heather Iannelli, D.C. (`99), marked 25 years of dedicated service through Children’s Family Chiropractic Center in Fort Wright, Kentucky, and celebrated a new chapter with the June 2025 acquisition of Florence Chiropractic and Wellness Center.

Heather Wright, D.C. (`01), partially retired from her 2+ decades of practice during which she has been named Top Chiropractor multiple times in the area. She will continue to work part time in acupuncture and animal chiropractic, running Vanish (her aesthetics business) and teaching continuing education classes.


Brenda Holland, D.C. (`03), received the President’s Award from ChiroCongress for her service to the profession as ChiroCongresses past president.


Don Schwenker, D.C. (`03), opened Timber City Chiropractic with his wife Colleen after recognizing the need for a family chiropractor in their hometown of Maquoketa, Iowa.


Lisa Goodman, D.C. (`06), was awarded the prestigious 2025 Women in Leadership Award by the World Congress of Women Chiropractors (WCWC). This accolade recognizes women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to advancing the chiropractic profession.


Renee Thompson, D.C. (`09), established her new practice, Agape Family Chiropractic in Goodyear, Arizona, providing specialized chiropractic services for families, babies, and pregnant mothers.

Kanema Clark, D.C. (`12), was named Mrs. Jamaica International 2025. She uses her platform to champion holistic health, faith-led entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.


Anthony Meyer, D.C. (`15), expanded his practice by opening a new Meyer Chiropractic location in Winterset, Iowa — welcomed by the Madison County Chamber with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in March 2025.


Andy Armor, D.C. (‘17) and Kailey Armor, D.C. (`17), expanded their neurologically-focused practice, Compass Chiropractic, into downtown Kalispell, Montana, in February 2025 after seven years at their original location in Whitefish.

Allison David, D.C. (`24), joined the Hammond Henry Hospital’s Sports Medicine Department, where she serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Chiropractic Assistant to Dr. Owen McConnell (`21).


Liznel Lugo Hernandez, D.C. (`24), opened her practice in Winter Park, Florida, specializing in holistic care for families with special needs.


Kendall O’Connell, D.C. (`25), opened Dynamic Shift Chiropractic in San Diego, California, where she treats the entire musculoskeletal system — neck, back, and extremities — using an evidence-based, personalized approach.


Alan Cook, D.C. (`25), joined The Wellness Way Chiropractic Clinic in Ada, Ohio, where he’ll work alongside fellow Palmer graduate Dr. Todd Gillfillan (`12). The two met at a seminar, and that connection ultimately brought Dr. Cook to Ada to serve the local community.
