Sense of belonging
“Every graduate knows this feeling,” says Dr. Marchiori, “the feeling of arriving at Palmer and being exactly where you belong. It’s been true for generations, and we’re investing to make sure it’s true for many more to come.” Palmer’s vision calls for increasing campus capacity by 20 percent.
Additionally, the plan will expand student-life programming and informal study and gathering spaces to create the opportunity for the next generations of chiropractors to find the place they belong.
How alumni can help
1. Host or sponsor events. Bring a club, seminar, or continuing education course back to campus, or underwrite support for a student gathering.
2. Be a mentor. Mentors connect students to the profession and the growing network of Palmer graduates. Share your story of belonging and welcome new students to the Palmer family.
3. Welcome transfers. With students transferring from other chiropractic colleges to Palmer, alumni play an essential role in letting students — no matter where they’re from — know they have a home at Palmer College.
Quality
“Quality at Palmer is everywhere,” says Dr. Marchiori. “It’s the people, the history, the clubs, the test scores, and a legacy of chiropractic education and practice success that is second to none. That commitment to quality defines and unifies us. We’re doubling down to make sure quality is reflected in everything we build and do.” The unparalleled quality of Palmer’s academic
programs is being elevated further by a synchronized curriculum across campuses and building investments to ensure the best learning environment for every student.
How alumni can help
1. Invest in the bricks and bytes. Alumni donations accelerate tech-rich classrooms and research labs.
2. Equip excellence. Designate support for clinic tables or scholarship funds that let students choose Palmer for its superior outcomes.
3. Be a leader. Quality can’t be hidden — recommendation letters, testimonials, alumni success, and professional service all help raise Palmer’s profile in the wider healthcare arena.
Moving the plan from paper to impact
“No matter the campus you graduated from, we are a single alumni family,” says Dr. Marchiori. “Shared values, belonging, and quality are not abstract ideals; they are the legacy of every Palmer graduate, and they are levers you can help us pull today.” As conversations and big ideas turn into concrete plans and groundbreakings, it’s time for alumni to continue to shape the future of the College they helped create. Each conversation, each new student, and each dollar given helps to move the needle and proves, once again, that when the Palmer community moves together, anything is possible.
