IIMS is ISO 9001 certified for training services in marine surveying


ISO 9001 audit update


In 2024, following many months of preparation and hard work, IIMS was externally audited and awarded ISO 9001 certification by DNV for ‘Training services in marine surveying’. For those who are not familiar with this standard, ISO 9001 is a widely recognized international standard for quality management systems (QMS). It provides a framework for organisations to consistently deliver high-quality products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.


Our first annual audit since certification took place in early June, and pleasingly it threw up no major or minor nonconformities, which is a remarkable achievement. But the hard work goes on as we start to prepare for the next audit in 2026!
