I photographed the progress of the construction of the cell tower. It’s all fenced in now (see below), but knowing we had already worked that area it doesn’t bother us too much. As to this being ironic, I mean because of the technology of today’s communication in the form of a cell tower, planted on the site where yesterday’s technology was located, I thought it was kind of a slap in the face to the old technology, including insulators. I wonder, if the Hemingrays were alive to see the cell tower on their property, what their reaction would be. On the other hand, they helped bring progress to the world by producing insulators.
