Prairie Signals Swap Meet - October 27 Shawnee, Oklahoma
The Prairie Signals Insulator Club swap meet had perfect weather for the 16 stopped by on their way to the Ohio show. George and Sharon Freeman brought some beautiful pieces including a mint 145 Honey Amber petticoat beehive and a Yellow Green 102 “CREB”. Don Woods was the host and he made his famous homemade chili. We all got to ooh and aah over his wonderful collection and pet his three vicious insulator guard dogs. Mike Conrey made his wife very happy by selling some porcelain suspension strings. Bob Schwartz had many great pieces! Nathan Hardage and his dad came by and bought a few. Ed Carney and his wife drove down from Lawrence KS and found some goodies too. Charles Cross also came and found a few nice pieces for his growing collection. All in all, a great time was had and we plan on doing it again next year.
