Insulator Art

Cobalt Cal Elec Works No, this isn’t a newly discovered CD 130.1 Cal Elec Works in near-mint condition. It’s actually a drawing... a very good drawing.

The artist is a non-collector who drew it at the request of a collector. Both parties wish to remain anonymous, but we felt the quality of the work was well worth 

Insulator Hound

Shown below is a pencil sketch drawn by 12-year-old Nicole Culver.

me last spring while I was recovering from heart surgery.

She drew this for Howard

The reason I drew the picture is because I wanted Howard and Linda to know how much I appreciated them. I collect mini commemorative insulators and Linda sold me several very nice mini transposition Wenzel Cobb TW’s to me from her collection. I really liked them because they were colors I didn’t have in my collection.

This drawing is of a imaginary Wolf Dog that lives nearby them. Howard and Linda live in a very mountainous area called Eagle Cap Wilderness. I imagine there would be wolves living there and I named this one Aristowolf.
