Every Saturday afternoon at the show everyone gets together and has a toast. This year’s toast was to pay tribute (as always) to the late Steve Blair as well as the recently departed Bob Wicks, one of the hobby’s originals who co- promoted the famed Glass Capital Insulator Shows of the 1970s with Jack Snyder.
Thank you to Jack Roach for providing the adult spirits for the toast again this year.
The Saturday evening banquet was held at Rudy’s Smokehouse. The company at our table was really enjoyable and the food was awesome and plentiful. It was followed by another session hanging out at the hotel with more enjoyable conversation and great people.
Sunday
The last day of the show always comes too quickly! Last minute bargains are chased down, packing up the sales tables……Where did the weekend go?!
